Short Appearance: Average height- long black hair-wears glasses-light brown eyes-formal wear-
Appearance:
Standing at 5'4 and weighing 116 lbs, Marcella's body type is rather average, an aspect which is well aware of. Although she doesn't consider herself the least bit attractive others may think otherwise, for while not stunningly beautiful, nor extremely pretty, she has a certain flair that tends to make her appear pleasantly different from others.
Never having been an athletic child, Marcella isn't muscular in the least bit. While relatively thin, she isn't as happy with her health as she'd like to be, as her body isn't very toned. Because of this, she avoids sweets to maintain her weight, as she was not gifted with a high metabolism like many other women her age. Her legs, however, are one of her favorite and only qualities she likes about herself, as they are very long in proportion to the rest of her body.
In terms of her facial features, Marcella has a very sharp look to her. Her light brown eyes always seem to be angled in an apprehensive way, as if she is constantly annoyed, and her lips are often poised in a frown. She is know for being extremely pale, and her skin is a milky white in color. Marcella adorns glasses as well, for while she doesn't need them in order to see, she believes they make her appear more intelligent and sophisticated. Long and jet black, her hair reaches midway down her back. She usually wears her hair down, but on special occasions she ties it into a bun.
Perhaps her most recognizable feature, however, is her peculiar sense of fashion. Marcella can almost always be seen wearing formal clothes, no matter the occasion. Her usual outfit consists of a black business suit, black pants, and black heels. Obviously, she prefers more practical neutral colors, and isn't one for wearing overly bright flashy colors.

AND YOU KNOW THAT IT MEANS SO MUCH

Personality:
Having been a spoiled brat during her child years, one would assume that these qualities would have follow her into adulthood. They, of course, couldn't be more wrong.
Marcella is a rather sensible, mature young woman. While she can have a great sense of humor at times, she doesn't find immature people and their attention seeking actions the least bit funny. More so than not, she will simply ignore anyone she feels isn't worth speaking to. Unintelligent, ignorant people just aren't worth her time, and she prefers to find more productive things to do with what little spare time she does have.
Because of this, others tend to think of her as rude and while this may be true, she doesn't necessarily go out of her way to be rude to people. If she doesn't want to speak with you she won't, and that's that. She isn't much of a conversation starter either. If you ask her a question, chances are that she'll answer you but that's about it. Small talk isn't something she's interested in. If she carries on a conversation with someone she either finds them very interesting, or she needs to do so to get the job done.
Along with this, Marcella is quite obsessive with perfection. As a perfectionist, she has to make sure that every last detail of something is absolutely perfect. If a picture frame is slightly tilted, she readjust it so it's aligned correctly. If there are nine pencils on a desk, she assures that they're all of equal length. If there is an odd number of an object, she will go out of her way to make sure they're even. This could be considered a form of OCD one could say, as she just can't help herself in these situations.
Marcella is also concerned with how she is perceived. Although she could care less about the opinions of those she deems as idiotic, she very much cares about how intelligent upper class folk view her. Status is important to her, as she wishes to be seen as a mature reliable individual. The thought of being humiliated or disgraced in the presence of sophisticated individuals horrifies her, as she could never fathom being the laughing stock of those she so admires.
It's because of this that she is so untrusting and cynical. It takes quite a while for her to warm up to someone, and even then, getting her to come out of her shell is a challenge. Even so, she's very loyal to those who do manage to become friends with her, and wouldn't hesitate to help a friend in need. All she asks is that they do the same.

History:
Growing up, Marcella wasn't much different from any other child. She was simply a curious, happy go lucky little girl who managed to put a smile on her mother and father's faces effortlessly. As their first child, special attention was given to her, and for a time she was spoiled. She merely needed to bat an eyelash and her mother would provide her with whatever she wished. Unlike other children, however, she didn't want simple things such as dolls or stuffed animals to play with.
Instead, she wanted only the highest of quality, newest fad related items. Coincidentally, these various objects cost quite a lot of money. Still, her mother and father eventually saved up enough to buy each and everyone of the things she asked for. Marcella knew she could manipulate them into giving her whatever she wanted, and she did. She remained a whiny little brat for several years to come, that is, until her twin brothers Marcus and Jason were born.
Everything seemed to go downhill for her after the twins birth, as it seemed as though all of her parents attention had shifted to her siblings. The money that had once been used on Marcella's shopping sprees was now being used on her brothers. She didn't like this. It was at this point that her mother and father realized that they had created a problem child.
Marcella's whining and crying began to drive them crazy, as well as her ridiculous acts for attention.
She was used to being the only child and now that she wasn't receiving the attention that she so dearly wanted, she began to show her true colors. Her parents weren't pleased by this, and finally began disciplining their daughter. It was a long and painful struggle to convince Marcella to behave, as she still believed she could control her parents. She refused to do what she was told, and many nights she was sent to bed without dinner. Eventually, however, she gave in, realizing that her rebellion was getting her no where.
Although her spoiled attitude seemed to disappear, it still dwelled deep within her, and would for years to come. It wasn't until the death of her mother until she made a commitment to fully change her ways. Like a dream, her mother vanished from her life so quickly, Marcella wasn't sure whether it was real or not. An instantaneous death, her mother was killed in a car crash while on her way home from work. Nothing could be done, for by the time police arrived at the scene, her mother was already long gone.
This caused Marcella to become closer to her brothers, and come to realize how fragile life could be. While she had hated her brothers because of how her parents fawned over them at first, she made a commitment to look after her brothers. In order to help her father deal with the loss, as well as her brothers, she took care of Jason and Marcus for the remainder of their child hoods, as well as getting a job as a business associate when she turned eighteen. This caused her to mature, and slowly grow out of her spoiled demeanor as a child.
Marcella's father, however, was harboring a secret he had hidden from both his wife and his children. During the course of their marriage, he had become a member of Team Imum after having had lost his job as a salesman. Unable to find another job in such an urgent time, he turned to Imum in what seemed to be his only option. His family would lose their home if he were to act any later. In order to keep his family fed, he stole from others and committed terrible acts, as difficult as it was for him. He was not a bad man, but after years of serving Team Imum he slowly began to think like a criminal.
Marcella left home because of this. During one of his missions, she discovered he had been working for Team Imum and had lied to their entire family. Enraged not only because of the lies, but because her mother was against the organization, Marcella angrily attempted to persuade her father to quit. He explained to her that if he were to leave, his life as well as his family's lives would be in danger. Either way, her father was putting her younger brothers in danger. With no where to turn to Marcella left her home.
She is now attempted to become a coordinator, while traveling around the world. She hopes to become famous in order to provide her younger brothers with a life away from the likes of Team Imum. Although she hasn't had much experience with Pokemon and didn't encounter them much as a child, she longs to be able to connect with them just as her mother once had.

Post Example:
As the sun disappeared over the horizon, a young woman let out a stifled sigh. The red and orange hues of the sky were absolutely beautiful, but they would disappear soon. Instead, a countless number of twinkling stars would gradually appear, illuminating the dark blue sky. The moon, a magnificent glory all it's own, would reveal itself once more, and all would grow quiet. Every once and a while a Kricketot would chirp it's gentle song, and the creatures of the day would fall into a deep slumber. This would be the cue for the creatures of the night to awaken and stir, resuming their night life as they had many times before.
The thought was mesmerizing. It was rare that a busy woman such as herself had the time to appreciate such scenery. During this hour, she would be copying papers for her co-workers or making coffee for them. Tonight, however, she was free to relax. Relax. What a word. The very concept of relaxation had avoided her for so long, she couldn't help but feel as though the word were unnatural to her now. This could be her only chance to enjoy herself, and yet all she could think about was work. What hours she would be working the next day, what needed to be done, how far behind she was. Her mind couldn't quite escape from her careers clutches.
She sighed again, leaning on the trunk of the large tree looming over her. "Marcella Cornell? Marcella, the boss would like to speak with you. Marcella, are those documents ready? Cornell, could you get me some coffee? Hey Marcella, could you stay after today? The words of her co-workers rattled in her mind. She must have heard her name a thousand times since the time she started working there. Quite honestly, she was sick of it. Her name didn't seem significant anymore. It seemed like just another word, over used and abused. She certainly wasn't getting paid enough for what she constantly had to deal with.
Lowering her hand into her pants pocket, Marcella pulled out her self phone, its constant ringing buzzing in her ears. Without another thought, she turned it off, shoving it back into her pocket. "I'm done." She muttered. "Either I get a raise or I quit." With a final sigh, she lowered herself to the ground, gazing at the now star sprinkled sky. It was an impressive sight, and for a long while Marcella failed to think about work. As she laid in the grass, her focus on the world around her, she truly felt at peace. For that she was truly grateful.
