"Alas, the Tokugawa finally avenged Lord Tadakatsu's death to the assassins that the Shadow devoured. Hanzo, passed away as a peaceful soul knowing that his duties as the Tokugawa's ninja have been fulfilled. Though one can wonder, what became of Lord Tadakatsu's daughter Ina? Was she in good hands? ... Chapter 16..."
After about 3 hours of reading the new book Mitsunari received in the mail from his father, Hideyoshi and a munching on a few snacks sent from his mother Nene.
The book was about the Warring states period. But oddly enough, Mitsunari had this odd feeling that he did in fact fight against the Tokugawa's leader... Ieyasu but...
Mitsunari took a sip of his tea and placed the thermos back by his side gently with care and brightened the light of an oil lamp on a table because it was getting darker.
It was sunset.
The sky was decorated with tints of reds, oranges, pinks and small amounts of black shadings, no clouds in sight. Mitsunari made sure he stayed isolated from everything. He was reading, relaxing and enjoying himself on an open beach hut. He liked being alone. Especially he absolutely would not want someone to interrupt his good reading.
Mitsunari stretched as he was getting slightly restless and pressed his back onto the wooden one of the wooden poles that was holding up the hut.
He wasn't wearing his head dress and red shoulder guard. I mean... who wears that to a beach? The gold helm was still on his head, his gloves were off, he was bare footed.
He definitely made this place at home. Everything was arranged nicely to the way he wanted it to be.
His Bisharp on the other hand, sat stool made of tough straw with a cushion on top looking at the horizon.
Mitsunari sighed and put his bear feet into the water and kicked it around boredly, but not splashing. He sighed again and fell backwards on his back... He was tired and sleepy.
His eyes began to close repeatedly over an over... And over again.
"Ugh, I'm beyond sleepy... But wait..."
His eyes shot open and he shook his head while sitting up again.
"I still have to finish that book."
He picked it up and started reading where he left off...
"Chapter 16... Ieyasu demanded for the head on the one who specifically sent the assassins to kill Tadakatsu..."
