THE APPEARANCE

Chika is your average girl, standing at 5'7" and weighing about 124lbs. Her hair is a vibrant red color and touches the tops of her thighs. However, she wears it in a high ponytail, therefore shortening it to her lower back. Coupled with a dark brown, almost black gaze, it wouldn't be a surprise if one were slightly unsettled by her appearance. She's got a fierce glare if you get on her bad side.

She's often found clad in somewhat darker clothes ranging from black to a dark blue hue. However, she doesn't shy away from bright colors either. She's known to dress festively if the situation calls for it but won't wear skirts or dresses for extended amounts of time, especially if she's traveling by foot. Her traveling attire isn't one of the most practical, but for her, it's the most comfortable. Her usual outfit consists of denim daisy dukes, and a form fitting tank top. Should she get cold, Chika also has a black sweatshirt with two dancing Pikachus on the back.

The sneakers she wears are worn with a hole developing by her left pinky toe. The shoelaces have long lost their plastic ends and are fraying in multiple places. Despite the obvious need for new shoes, Chika would much rather spend her money on things pertaining to pokemon such as pokeballs or items. On her left wrist is her silver chain bracelet she received from her parents, andsche cherishes it. She also wears a variety of other bracelets on her left arm She carries a simple backpack which holds her basic items.

THE PERSONALITY

Chika's a spunky sort of girl. She's more than willing to speak her mind if she doesn't agree or like something. At the same time, she knows when and when not to speak her mind in order to stay out of trouble. She has her childish moments and her spoiled brat moments such as when she wants something she can't have. She's generally impatient, often rebuking someone if they made her wait too terribly long.

As a Team Imum member, Chika isn't cruel or brutal towards pokemon. In fact, she much prefers them over a great majority of people. She'd prefer having a pokemon that could easily incinerate her as a travel partner as opposed to a human one, assuming that the human is not one she harbors some sort of affection for.

To counter balance her often childish nature, Chika does indeed have a serious side which comes out during pokemon battles. While she's still snarky and critical at times, it takes a back seat to cunning and fleet-footedness. While most would say she's not the most strategic pokemon trainer, those very people would agree that in the future, she would be a formidable opponent. In battle, Chika's strategy is an all-out attack, believing that the opponent can't hurt her if they're busy trying to dodge. While battling, Chika tends to get into it, hopping around, throwing punches in the air, and jumping up and down childishly when something goes her way.

THE HISTORY

Chika grew up in the very fast-paced city of Goldenrod, Johto. As such, her surroundings were almost constantly changing. Her family consisted of her, her mother, her father, and her family pet, Houndour. The four of them lived in a large apartment complex, living as any other average family would. They were neither rich nor poor, just another family making ends meet however they could and splurging when they could.

Due to this, Chika was neither spoiled nor deprived of much. While she wouldn't always get the toys she wanted or the latest gadgets, she would eventually settle for not having them and run off with the family Houndour. Her most prominent memory is of Team Rocket taking over the Radio Tower. She had been visiting the department store with her family Houndour in tow. The complex they lived in was only a block away from the store and her parents figured that she would be just fine. After all, she was nine and in less than a year, she would be able to go out on her own pokemon journey.

It happened to be that very day when the Rockets made their move and took over the Radio Tower. Her trusty Houndour was stolen away, and this absolutely devastated her. The family's Houndour was going to be her starter pokemon. She had already decided it. She promptly returned home to very worried parents before proceeding to hole up in her room for the next 24 hours. It wasn't long before Team Rocket was kicked out of the Radio Tower. When this happened, Chika proceeded to search high and low for her Houndour. It was at this time that Chika began disliking Team Rocket which, in turn, would lead to her disdain for most humans.

The next year, instead of setting out on her journey as she had planned, Chika stayed in Goldenrod City instead. The years went by with Chika's dislike towards people growing more and more each year as more stuff happened to her, whether it be someone yelling at her, a bad day at school, or something even more trivial. In fact, the bad thing didn't even have to happen to her specifically and her dislike for people would grow.

Despite all this, she was still outwardly friendly to people, inwardly damning them to the deepest depths of hell. Very few people got to see what she was really like behind closed doors. But most people were blissfully ignorant. In fact, it wasn't until she was twenty-one and visiting Lyreant that she met a young man who shared her views. The two started dating for a short while. During that time, she was informed about Team Imum. Over the next two months, she became interested in the team and their motives. Not too long after her and her beau had stopped dating, she joined, finally caving in and becoming a trainer. With her enthusiasm, it didn't take terribly long for Chika to rise up from being a grunt to being an Elite.
