THE APPEARANCE
SHORT APPEARANCE;; Pink hair, blue eyes, caucasion
APPEARANCE;;
Aleta always kept her hair long, but much more interestingly, she also kept it died a bright pink. Although this gained her quite a bit of teasing in school, she never allowed it to reach it's natural color. Maybe it was her way of clinging on to a more childish way of thought. Many people seemed to comment on her large blue eyes as well, but she never took any notice of it. Usually she was more focussed on how fat she was. Or how skinny she was. Or whatever problem with herself she came up with that day. Really, she wasn't much of either.
THE PERSONALITY
I'm just fakin' it fakin' it. Not really makin' it.
I'm just fakin' it fakin' it. Not really makin' it.
PERSONALITY;;
Aleta was always trying to act tough. She always talked a big game, excepting the wildest and most impossible of challenges. That being said, she was a winy, weak, poor sport in actuality. She would constantly loose in bets and dares only to wine and say that somehow it wasn't fair. She would rarely get mad at people though. She was good at looking at the better side of people, seeing the potential they had and how they could change. When she wasn't failing at something she was so certain that she could do, she was fairly happy and fun to be around. In short, she was easy to frustrate, but hard to anger.
LIKES;; Winning, sweets, telling slightly rude jokes
DISLIKES;; Loosing, when things don't work how they should, poor sports (much like herself)
FEARS;; Spiders, the dark
GOALS;; to become the best at everything with minimal effort, to have a good time while traveling
STRENGTHS;; Courage (for the most part), willing to do anything on a dare
WEAKNESSES;; Weak, winy, willing to do anything on a dare.
QUIRKS/HABITS;; Snapping fingers, popping knuckles, finding anything available to do with her hands
THE HISTORY
FAMILY;; Mother and father, no siblings.
HISTORY;;
Unlike many pokemon trainers, Aleta actually grew up with both of her parents. Childhood abandonment seemed to be rampid lately, and so she thought herself quite lucky to have both of them. As far as money went, she was never really well off, but they were never starving or anything. Other than having both parents, her family was about as average as average could be. This is why she strove to be something better. She wanted to be the best, at what she wasn't sure yet, but she needed to make a name for her freshly imigrated family. She wanted something better for her parents, they deserved it. When her uncle from all the way in Kanto sent her this simply adorable Mareep, she knew she had to become a pokemon trainer. She named him Reginald, than set off an an adventure, packing a bag full of ramen noodles, jerky and bread.

POST EXAMPLE;;
(from bitterbeginnings.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=route2&action=display&thread=420&page=2 Yeah I know it's on this site, gimme a break I'm tired.) Josh was confused, confused and irritated. He'd been confused for a while, with all of the nonsense that his ears picked up but his brain didn't recognize, not knowing where to go, and all of that drama with Ilixie falling, so confusion wasn't very new to him. But the irritation was. Why would Ilixie push him? She'd been rude to him before, but he usually deserved it. But now, he was helping her. Carrying her, while risking his own already fading life, so that she could get to safety.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
Looking back, he saw a blob moving about with quite a bit of ferocity. Ilixie said something, seeming concerned. Did she? No. She couldn't. This couldn't be. There was no way that she would sacrifice herself for him, when he'd probably die before he could make it to any town, and there was absolutely no chance of him finding his way to it anyway. He was practically blind, after all.
Josh decided that all of these thoughts were stupid anyway, so he went ahead and booted them from his mind. He couldn't help but snicker, "What are you doing down there, dancing? You really are as crazy as people say." He was joking, but why didn't she stop dancing? Maybe she really was crazy, maybe people avoided her for a reason.
But it didn't matter. Right now Josh needed Ilixie just as much as she needed him, if not more. It didn't matter if Ilixie knew that. Without her, he had no eyes. Without her, he had no sense of direction. Without her, he might as well be dead already.
He walked back to Ilixie the best he could, wavering here and there, like someone who was drunk and tired. He was going to go pick her up, but it was going to be hard while she was dancing.
Maybe it'd be easier if I tied her up... Josh shook his head violently, causing him to veer more off track. Those were the kind of hazy thoughts he was having earlier, he didn't want to go back there.
He started to pick her up again, but she wouldn't stop moving. Now that Josh was closer, he could tell it wasn't a dance, but she was acting really strange. She wasn't going to make it easy to pick her up, and that was apparent.
