Ranmaru sat at the nearest bench that was by the large windows at the party. It was semi-formal, so Ranmaru decided to wear his outfit that he wore for the parties when his family was around. He looked strange to some, but other than that, most people actually ignored it. Even if they did notice the katana he had across his back. The place looked stunning with its polished ivory tiles and large windows with scarlet red curtains that were gently held to the side. There was soft music playing in the background, the atmosphere resembled of that at a fancy Restaurant. Because of the atmosphere in the room, Ranmaru, definitely looked like a girl here. He was wondering, why people were randomly invited and if he'd see anyone familiar. But after 3 and some minutes of waiting... No one. Nobody he recognized appeared within the party folk and crowds. Ranmaru was definitely lonely and sleepy. He sighed and turned back to the window and looked out into the landscape it was dusk and the trees gave off a calming aura from the distance. "I hope someone would just notice me here..." he thought and sighed, "I'm getting awfully tired..." "Especially... him." He thought and blushed a little. "Masamune-sama..." he whispered as he rested the side of his head onto the window at the thought of his lover that he met in Aria Town. The One-Eyed Dragon, Masamune Nagashima. Ranmaru looked off silently into the landscape again and was about to doze off in day dreams.

The festive atmosphere gave her the perfect excuse to wear something fancy. Of course, she had taken it into her own hands to find something perfect to wear. And by taking it into her own hands, what she really did was order several unlucky grunts to find something she liked and proceed to acquire it through any means possible. And for once, the lowly grunts actually did their job well.
Chika was always one to make a statement. And the dress was perfect for her. It was an asymmetric dress with a strap on her left shoulder to hold it up along with a slit up the side of her right leg that ended mid-thigh. It fit snugly around her before loosening and flowing out beyond her waist and touching her ankles. It was a cross between an off-white color and creme; however, sequins of red, orange, and yellow were sewn all along the bottom half, dancing up the dress in the same way that flames would. Her stride was brisk, and a pair of off-white heels clicked as she walked. Her hair was pulled up high in its usual ponytail only this time, it was tied up with a white satin ribbon, and loose curls shortened her hair further so that it only touched the middle of her back.
Beside her, walking just as proud as his owner, was her ever-present Quilava, Haven. While he wasn't the most social pokemon, he did enjoy when his trainer went all out on herself. That always meant he got the same treatment. His coat was shiny from a recent bath and smoothed down by a brush. His flames seemed brighter and the light bounced off the sequins of Chika's dress. He was looking forward to this. Perhaps there wouldn't be many more pokemon running around, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't get attention. There were plenty of people galore who he could show off to, and no doubt that they would praise him for his appearance.
As Chika walked, Haven followed beside her, still proud as ever. "Oh my..." a couple of other party-goers stared as she passed them, but Chika held an indifferent expression on her face while looking smug inside. "Let's go, Haven, maybe we can find someone who won't bore me. what do you say?" she asked, dropping down ton one knee to pick him up. He trilled in response, letting his flames dissipate so he could nuzzle her. She giggled as she stroked his head before holding him in her arms as she walked around. She mingled with several people, giving them all of five minutes not to bore her before she moved onto the next person.
She didn't even bother to make an attempt to hide her yawn as a young man went on and on about his adventures across the land, probably in an effort to impress her. His rambling slowed to a stop as she walked away with no notice. "Haven, this place is a bore. I want to crash it already," she sighed, holding him closer. He nodded in agreement. She spotted a party-goer who appeared to be just as bored as she was. They were dressed odd, not wearing something more traditionally found at a party. So, she sauntered up to the stranger, set Haven down on the window-sill, and proceeded to stare out the window as well. "You know," she began, "there's not a lot of interesting things out there," she stated blandly. | [atrb=style, height: 475px; width: 198px; background-image: url(http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/yy29/Virid/Chika.jpg); background-position: right bottom; border-radius: 20px] |

"You know, there's not a lot of interesting things out there," a voice snapped Ranmaru out of his lovely daydreams.
Ranmaru sleepily rubbed his eyes, "I really like the outdoors, it's so peaceful especially at dusk."
He turned and saw a red head and her Quilava. Ranmaru's Riolu peeked out from under the bench and looked at the duo. The girl looked pretty in that dress she's wearing. And the Quilava she had looked pretty strong too. "Gomenesai," Ranmaru said, "I for got to introduce myself. My name is Ranmaru, this is Riolu... Wherever she is." He looked around the bench, "What's your name?" Ran said pleasantly as he looked at the girl.
