THE APPEARANCE
"I'm... not a girl... really..."

SHORT APPEARANCE;; Medium –sized, slight build, dark blue hair, dark blue eyes, hair is up in a ponytail, wears three shirts, wears shorts that goes above his knees, purple runners.
APPEARANCE;; Ranmaru is about 5’10”, he has a slight build, he’s a little skinny. He’s 19 years old, although commonly mistaken for a 16 year-old. He has a VERY feminine appearance. He has blue girlish eyes and ties his long dark blue hair up in a ponytail with gold and purple ribbon. Ranmaru wears 3 layers of shirts, but they are thin. (Going from inside out) The first shirt is a black turtle neck, then a purple long-sleeved shirt. After that is a white tank-top with gold lining and has the insignia of his family, an ivory heron. On the shoulder stitches that go to the sleeves, the stitches are a larger and thicker silver string, you can see the black shirt underneath. It has silver ribbon around Ranmaru’s waist acting as a belt. Around the collar of the white shirt is purple and gold string acting as a necklace around Ranmaru’s neck. Ranmaru has dark purple shorts that go above his knees. Ranmaru has purple boots as well. He usually has a Long Sword with him in its sheath across his back just in case…

THE PERSONALITY
"Um... Not to rain on your parade, but I think you've been mistaken about something..."

PERSONALITY;; Ranmaru is quiet and innocent. He tends to act a little naive at times. He is a very devoted friend and will help them whenever he can. Ranmaru knows when to respect someone of high standing. He is very oblivious when someone mistaken him for a girl, though, when someone walks up in front of him and tells him directly that he’s a girl, Ranmaru gets either very flustered or he yells at the person in embarrassment and runs away in tears. In some cases, when someone is blunt or when Ranmaru’s scared, he seems to be on the verge of tears. Ranmaru always acts cutely but he doesn’t notices, ever. He apparently is attracted to shiny things as well. He always likes to makes new friends, but hates to see friends of his fight. Though under Ranmaru’s sweet exterior, he is very hard on himself at times. Because of the Long Sword he carries around all the time, he may use it when someone is challenging him to an all-out fist/weapons fight, Ranmaru is competitive and is a fierce warrior, because he is trained by the best.

DISLIKES;; Loud places, Loud sudden noises, Someone opposing his teacher, someone making fun of him.
FEARS;; Heights, when anyone yells at him.

STRENGTHS;; A fierce warrior, knows when to think clearly, is oblivious to most things, he’s polite in every way.
WEAKNESSES;; Is hard on himself, people keep mistaking him for a girl, he tends to cry most of the time or at least on the verge of tears.
QUIRKS/HABITS;; Tilting his head to the side cutely when he’s confused, fixes his ponytail every-now-and-then. Innocently staring at things, completely oblivious when he’s acting like a girl.

THE HISTORY
"Hmph. If you refuse to listen to me... Then I will just have to claim the title of the most beautiful woman for myself."

FAMILY;; A father and 6 brothers.
HISTORY;; Ranmaru is from Aria Town, a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Which explains why he’s not fond of loud places and noises.
In the past…
Ranmaru was brought up in a good family home, he is the third oldest or 7 boys. His father is a well-known business man, while his mother, a nurse. This explains Ranmaru’s polite behaviour and his intelligence. Ranmaru is usually being mistaken for a girl. He was often bullied at school. And his mother always comforted him and said that you should be nice to them anyways, even if it’s hard to do. Unfortunately, when Ranmaru was 15, his mother died of a fatal illness.
In the present…
Ranmaru’s father and his older brothers said that it is finally time for Ranmaru to set out on his own adventures and see the world. Of course, Ranmaru needed a partner Pokemon. So, he decided to choose Riolu, his mother’s partner before she passed away.
