It was here by herself that she was reminiscing. Reminiscing about her youth? No, she didn't have any care to go back to her past. Well, not that far, anyway. Besides, what was there to think about the past? She couldn't say that she had a normal past, well, obviously, since her past was how she was born into this world as a Gijinka. She didn't regret being born into this world as a Gijinka. Neither did she hate her mother in any way for loving a human. Unlike most other Gijinka, Shizuka was ironically a more carefree girl than she seemed, and she liked the benefits of having the blood of both humans and pokemon. Oh, it sure was a hassle dealing with people who couldn't accept the existence of Gijinka, and she had to agree that sometimes there were humans that treated Gijinka as no more than animals. Hiding her ears and tail was just a part of trying to live a normal life, and there wasn't anything wrong with that, right? Shizuka had long ago accepted her destiny, or fate, as a gijinka, and was fully willing to live it through. Well, would you look at that: Shizuka really did end up reminiscing anyway. She remembered clearly about the tender warmth of snuggling up to her mother's soft fur, being wrapped up tight in her mother's tails, and about how safe she felt being protected by her caring pokemon mother. She never did get to meet her father, but that didn't matter to her at the time, and it doesn't now either. Yawning, Shizuka sat down on the soft grass beneath the willow tree at the bottom of the hill, and began stroking her meowth, Sakura. "We covered a lot of ground, didn't we, Sakura. Even though you rode on my shoulder most of the time." She commented softly to her kitten. "Cat's need a lot of rest in order to be at their best for battle!" Sakura quickly objected. Sora woke up to the noise of a girl's voice and quickly put on his hoodie to hide his ears and tails when he thought he heard the voice of a meowth, when the girl responded he heard her more clearly and recognized her voice, yes that girl.

The one who he left Team Inum for, it all happened that fated day. He say the beautiful gijinka who stole his heart and led him away from the dreaded Team Inum. He needed to know her name, It was the one thing since that day that had been driving him crazy. Of course Kirara was there to help him calm down so he could sleep, but what is that worth, when he couldn't keep calm after that, he just needed to know this girl's name, so he could finally sleep well, at least knowing her name. So he began a little plan he thought of on the spot, poke her randomly and get slapped.

It was full day out, but it was one of those impossibly perfect days where it was just noon, but you weren't melting in the heat. In fact, it was warm at a comfortable level, with a gentle breeze to make the weather perfect. Lyeant was usually a pretty nice place with great weather to be found anyway. At the bottom of the hill where Shizuka sat with her Meowth under the branches of a willow tree, there were a few other trees about, but not enough to make a forest. The grass was soft and cool, and the sun's warm rays shone through the branches of the willow. Sakura flicked her ears back, then looked up at Shizuka. "You heard it too?" Shizuka nodded, her Vulpix ears flicked in the same direction. "Yeah, we're not alone." She went ahead and rendered her ears and tails invisible. It was always better to be cautious now than never. The spell would drain on her strength steadily, making her even more tired, but the risk was always too great. Sakura stood up and stretched, then turned and stared in the direction that she and Shizuka had heard the faint sounds of movement. Shizuka, however, was calm enough to just stay and sit where she was. Besides, what if it was just a pokemon, and there was no need to worry? o o c || ;D w o r d s || 231 t a g s || Sora

Sora's ears perked up as he heard the girl talking to her, what did that pokemon sound like again? Yes that's it, it sounding like it was a female Meowth. Is she shy as well, I don't want to startle her it would make a bad first impression, but if I never say anything I'll never get to know her at all. So the Gajinka looked around to make sure there was no regular humans around and then took out his ears and tails as to not startle the girl he had longed to speak to. Sora looked up into the sky and whispered for courage, " If I was named after you then maybe you can grant me the courage to do this." Sora then proceeded to approach the girl and once he was near her he called out timidly, "Hello, I'm Sora, am I going crazy or did I just hear you talk to your Meowth? Or are you like me?"

"<Come one step closer, and I'll rip you to shreds!>" The meowth threatened with an angry hiss. "Sakura!" Shizuka exclaimed, standing up and staring at the cat in astonishment, but then she calmed down, knowing that scolding the proud feline would get noone anywhere. "You don't have to assume everyone's an enemy until they've done something wrong." Her Vulpix tails were rendered invisible to the human eye, still hidden by a mask of invisibility, but she let her ears, hidden under her wool hat to stay visible, making the spell much easier to hold. But the person's comment made them both nearly cringe. He had heard them talking! Shizuka tried to fake a laugh. "What? But Pokemon don't talk back of course!" Even Sakura tried to meow as if she were agreeing with Shizuka, but any Gijinka would have heard, "<Heh! Stupid kid! Pokemon don't talk human!>" Shizuka tried to force a smile as she came forward and leaned down to pat the siamese cat pokemon on the head. "Even though she doesn't talk back, I talk to Sakura all the time. Everyone does that, right?" Shizuka tried to explain to the person in front of them, but then she found herself unable to help but follow Sakura's wide-eyed gaze towards the other boy's head. It couldn't be...could it!? If it were so, then that would explain the boy's question! "...You wouldn't happen to be...a Gijinka!?" She asked slowly, hesitantly. She still couldn't be sure. This could always be some PokeManiac that went around wearing Umbreon ears, and if so, then Shizuka would be foolish giving away that she was a Gijinka too at this point. o o c || ;D w o r d s || 304 t a g s || Sora!

"Of course he's a gajinka" retorted Kirara sitting behind Sora and listening in to their conversation. "Shh Kirara let me stand up for myself, I had a better example in mind" whispered Sora to Kirara. Then standing back up Sora took a deep breath and looked around. "Good no humans around, unless.., no it must be her I remember that voice and face. I should make sure I tell Kirara back in first though, good thing she's not a Pokemon who likes to stay mad. "Okay you want to see an example of my powers? To see I'm not one of those freaks that dress up like us? Well here I go. Dark Pulse!" At that time Kirara's ears perked up as she saw a wave of dark energy coming towards her,"You're lucky you feed me Sora." Kirara retorted before she fainted.

"Y-you...you really are...a Gijinka!?" She was sure by now, but she could hardly believe that she had just found another of her kind. Shizuka decided then that, if the Gijinka boy really did go on and use a Pokemon move, then she would tell him her secret as well. By the time the Umbreon Gijinka boy had unleashed a Dark Pulse, at his own pokemon, to Sakura's horror, and Shizuka's dumbfounded surprise, Shizuka felt an urge that she really wanted to tell this boy her secret, reveal her identity, having met someone who was like her. At that point, the only thing on her mind was the joy that she had found another Gijinka who might feel the same way she did, and be in a similar situation. Sakura's jaw practically dropped that the Umbreon Gijinka boy was so intent on convincing them that he would knock out his own pokemon, and Shizuka would have found herself thinking that rather bizzare if it weren't for the happiness going on in her mind that she had found another Gijinka in Lyeant. Sakura turned and stared hard at Shizuka. "<You'd BETTER not go knocking ME out to prove anything, or I'll never forget it!>" Shizuka's face brightened up, and she simply giggled happily. "Of course I won't, Sakura. I ... I never thought I'd meet a Gijinka," She began to take off her hat and release her spell. "Another Gijinka...like me." Her Vulpix Gijinka ears came into view, and her six tails gradually faded into the visible spectrum of light for all to see. o o c || ;D w o r d s || 310 t a g s || Sora!

Sora started to giggle along with the fox Gajinka until he saw what could've possibly been the most beautiful thing in his life, this girl had let her Gajinka parts show, and he knew now that it was definitely that girl. "It really is you," noticing that he had said those words aloud Sora caught himself and quickly corrected, " I mean um, you know I'm just all happy about meeting another Gajinka, I've never seen you in my entire life." I just realized I should really get Kirara to a Pokemon Center soon if a wild Pokemon appears then I would have to have Shizu alongside me or I'll have to fight it off myself. Thinking then about how he had planed this day he chuckled a little. It has come a long way from just poking this girl, I just knocked out Kirara to show her that I'm a gajinka, but I couldn't let her go not when I've come this far.[i/] "Hey uh.. I guess I need your name now" Sora chuckled lightly. "You want to go to the Pokemon Center together, we can talk while I go and get Kirara healed up." Sora said lightly hoping the girl would accept his offer.

Yet here she had so willingly shown this umbreon boy her most guarded secret. To be honest she had longed to meet someone else like herself. Having a secret that she couldn't tell anyone was lonely in a way very few people could understand. That was probably most the reason why she had eagerly done it. The umbreon boy likewise was almost just as excited to meet another gijinka. She was still fantasizing about meeting another gijinka when she realized abruptly that the boy was now speaking to her. "Oh, uh yeah, I'm Shizuka... Shizuka Mikudou... and you are?" Shizuka was having a hard time distinguishing between the warm feelings within as well as trying to hold a normal conversation. Trying to converse like normal people was very difficult when you're in the same position as Shizuka. She really wanted to jump for joy and celebrate and cry "Thank you Arceus!!" several times. All of this excitement was somehow contained within a very flustered Shizuka, now walking alongside the umbreon boy, taking up his offer to go to the Pokemon Center with him. At her side, Sakura was really not appreciating all the lack of focus on her. And all that effort she did to stand up for Shizuka in case it were not a gijinka! And no thank you's! She felt sympathy for Kirara, seeing that both of their trainers were easily distracted by the silliest things.
