gettin' close to an overload
SHORT APPEARANCE;; Young teenage girl trainer with dark blue hair and noticeably perky pigtails.
APPEARANCE;;
Crystal is probably most likely known for her dark blue hair, and the way her pigtails stick out at nearly right angles. Well, this is what I first notice about the girl. But ironically, she wears a pretty normal outfit that's remarkably unremarkable.(see what I did there xD) She wears a pair of star-shaped earrings, and her bangs part right in the middle, with locks of hair evenly placed on either side, framing her smiling face. She wears a red shirt, and blue-striped yellow shorts, black-striped red and white tennis shoes, while keeping the rest of her leg completely bare apart from white socks that show just to her ankles. Often times she is seen wearing a red-striped white lab coat, especially when she is working as a professor's assistant. Her bright cheery crystal colored eyes deny the fact that they are of a dark blue shade, as she is a character who seems to be smiling in every picture of her.
THE PERSONALITY

PERSONALITY;;
Kris is usually gentle and amiable, but also has a serious and perhaps intimidating side when it comes to work. Her aggressive and enthusiastic attitude in Pokemon capturing is overwhelming to some, scary to others, and strange to the rest. She is hard working, and determined, shows strong will, and is enthusiastic about her job. She has shown a bit of pride for her talent in catching pokemon, and tends to feel jealous when others arise claiming that they are good at catching pokemon too.
As a child, she had a bad fall, which resulted in her breaking her arms, so she had to adapt to learning to use her feet more. As a result, she learned how to kick pokeballs with her feet in order to capture pokemon. Capturing pokemon is her special skill, and is sometimes referred to as The Catcher by Professor Oak. Although she has captured all non-legendary pokemon of the Kanto and Johto region, she aspires to complete the national pokedex in the Lyeant region, known for being a special region where all the pokemon in the world can be found.
LIKES;; catching pokemon, Gold
DISLIKES;; rainy weather, losing
FEARS;; failure, losing her skills
GOALS;; To complete the National Pokedex, to win against Silver and Gold in a pokemon battle
STRENGTHS;; Determined, Strong willed, skilled with her feet, calm in battle
WEAKNESSES;; Worries a lot, maybe a bit too straight-forward, easily discouraged
QUIRKS/HABITS;; Instead of throwing the pokeball, or tapping it on the pokemon, she has adapted to a particular style of using her feet to kick the pokeball at the pokemon; Although she is usually gentle, her attitude changes dramatically whenever she takes on the task of catching pokemon.

HISTORY;;
She was a goody two-shoes, even when she was as young as six years of age. She always got the best grades in the class and was always a little more wise beyond her years. Compared to her, the child who'd been denied an education for the longest time looked, very simply, like an idiot, and the girl with blue hair would never let him live it down. It wasn't until a little past his seventh birthday that he actually started going to school, and, even then, his grades could never compare to that of the wizz kid he was being forced to live with. At first, the two hated each other, each one always trying to best the other in anything and everything. These two took sibling rivalry to a new level.
However, over the next three or so years, they grew more fond of each other. What Crystal lacked in streets smarts, she made up for book smarts while what Gold lacked in book smarts, he made up in street smarts. In the end, they called a truce and decided that it'd be better to help each other out then try to best the other. They two become as close as two peas in a pod, doing everything they could together because, as a team, they were an unstopable force.
And it was at this time that Gold thought he first started falling in love with Crystal.
Crystal had her ways of getting on everyone's good sides. This included the grumpy, local professor, Professor Elm. If anything, she was the only girl he liked in the entire town, and boy did he enjoy her company. She could convince him to let her do anything she wanted around his labratory and make him give her anything she wanted him to. But the blue-haired girl was a good girl, so she would never con someone into giving away any of their possessions. But there had always been one tiny exception to this rule - the professor's Pokemon.
You see, the Pokemon expert had gathered three especially rare Pokemon for research purposes and was currently blocking them off from the world. Crystal wanted nothing more then to be gifted one of these creatures and go on an adventure like so many kids her age were doing. This also happened to be the one thing that the professor would not let her have. It took almost an entire year, but the girl with anti gravitational pig tails finally managed to get Professor Elm to give up his prized Pokemon to she and her brother as long as they promised to also fill out his Poke' Dex for research purposes.
At first, the two were clueless as what to do. Gold had a Cyndaquil while Crys had claimed a Chikorita. They were offically trainers. But... what did a trainer do, exactly? Well, the answer came to them with a very unfortunate event. A robbery at the home of the very same professor who had gifted the two his most prize possessions. A Totodile, the last remaining starter Pokemon, had been kidnapped and the two swore to kidnap the person responsible. The culprit came sooner then expected. And, much to their surprise that very culprit was no different then they were.
It was on that day, when both had begged their way into their very first Pokemon that they met Silver.
Gold instantly challenged to red-head to a battle, claiming that, if he won, then the Totodile would be given back to Professor Elm. And battle they did. Even though the raven-haired boy claimed his very first victory in his future streak of them, the water-type was not returned and the theif managed to slip away. At first, the two siblings decided to make catching Silver their number one priority. However, as they battled together from city to city, both were introduced to the Pokemon League and it's many wonders and the less pleasent Team Rocket who treatened Johto every step of the way.
Gold took down gym leader after gym leader while Crystal spent her days capturing every Pocket Monster she possibly could to make up for the Pokemon they'd coaxed the professor out of. It turned out that the theif they'd been pursuing at first was also fighting against the wickedness of Team Rocket and the three put aside their differences and put an end to the evil organization's awful schemes. Gold moved on to compete in and win the Pokemon League, Crystal being the first and only person to every completely fill the Johto Poke' Dex, while Silver... Well, who knew what Silver was doing out there. All they knew was that the three had essencially become famous due to their achievements, rivalling that of the black-haired, red-eyed boy who had conquered the Kanto region three years in advance.
So what next? Well, a lot of stuff happened between the time the three conquered Johto and Gold left to travel to the Lyeant region, though very few are note worthy. Most are just the fact that the siblings grew closer and closer to one another, hanging out like normal teenagers their age did and the two peppier ones of their mishapen trio convincinsing Silver to do a lot of stuff he probably didn't want to. After capturing every single pokemon in Johto, Crystal set out to fill up the national dex, of course, as always, sending each pokemon she caught straight to the region's professor, Professor Pine.
On a brighter note, Gold finally came to terms that his feelings towards Crystal weren't just that of a really close friendship or the fact that they were siblings. No, the dreaded four letter word was love. And, for a while, he never thought the feelings were mutual. However, this all changed when she decided to confess that she, herself, had "more then friends" feelings for the golden-eyed boy.
Fifteen mintues later, Mr. and Mrs. Demien caught sight of the two making out and did the first thing they could think of to do - boot him out.
So, what next? Well, unable to accept that Gold was leaving, Crystal quickly decided to go to the Lyeant region as well, and set out on a unique journey of her own, after learning that all pokemon in existence could be found there, to fill the national pokedex.
