say I let go, say it's obvious, I tell myself over and over again
SHORT APPEARANCE;; blonde haired, golden eyed female
APPEARANCE;;
Yellow is pretty darn short, honestly. She stands at barely 5' 4” and doesn't get much taller, even when standing on her tippy toes. She's got fairly long, blonde hair with messy bangs that she's constantly having to tuck behind her ears to get out of her eyes. She pulls it up into a ponytail for the most part, only letting it hang down at night and for very special occasions. Her eyes are a golden color, sometimes a little brown in hue as well.
Yellow's attire hasn't changes much over the years. As a young girl, she wore a long sleeved, turtle neck sweater that was black in color with a yellow dress worn over that. Lately, she basically wears the same thing with a few differences. Like her belt – brown in color and nifty for holding her Pokemon. Her pants variate from a greenish blue color to dark, muted blues and her favorite pair of shoes are her purple boots. She also has a large straw hat that, when used to cover up her pony tail, can easily make her look like a boy. Of course, she's got no reason to hide her gender, so she only really wears this while out and about.
THE PERSONALITY
I'm ready, I'm ready to believe
I'm ready, I'm ready to believe
PERSONALITY;;
Shyness comes down to an art with this blonde. Quiet and socially awkward to the very end, Yellow is one of the more gentle people you'll ever meet. Though she doesn't talk a whole lot and only does so when spoken to, if one can get passed her shyness, they can find that she is a very optimistic, adventurous person, if if she might seem like just the opposite in the eyes of the people around her. She values her friends more than her life and is very loyal to those who have gained her trust and affection.
Yellow is very passive when it comes to... well, almost anything. She prefers talking out matters than throwing punches or arguing. This includes things like Pokemon battles. She usually confuses the opponent's Pokemon or puts them to sleep to make them unable to battle instead of knocking them out, simply because she can't stand to see anyone get hurt. This includes the opponent's Pokemon. Roughness is only used when absolutely necessary and is not tolerated otherwise. She's a little clumsy at times, tripping on her own two feet more than a normal person should. She's also the exact opposite of oblivious – reading people is something she's quite skilled at doing. Liars are the one thing she can't tolerate, as well, and are one of the only things she can truly dislike or even hate in the world in which she lives.
LIKES;; fishing, afternoon naps, drawing, the outdoors, company
DISLIKES;; Pokemon battles, seeing people hurt, being alone, liars, those who use Pokemon for evil
FEARS;; losing all those close to her, fire, large water-type Pokemon
GOALS;; to gain a name for herself, to not hurt other Pokemon (even in battle), to become an expert at fishing
STRENGTHS;; caring, enthusiastic, forgiving, mature, reliable
WEAKNESSES;; passive, socially awkward, gives into peer pressure easily
QUIRKS/HABITS;; drifts off into sleep at random times, chews on nails when nervous

FAMILY;; Fisherman Winston (Uncle)
HISTORY;;
Yellow was born in the Viridian Forest, one of the Kanto region's most well known places. It is said that, every ten years a child with special abilities granted by the spirits of the forest is born. They are able to, by touching a Pokemon's forehead, read their thoughts and heal their wounds. Though not known at the time, Yellow was one of these gifted few. But her special powers weren't the only thing that connected her to the forest in which she was raised by. Even at a young age, she loved the forest, spending her days filling her sketch pads with drawing after drawing and playing with the Pocket Monsters the peaceful place had to offer.
For nine years, the blonde lived peacefully with her parents. Siblings were never something she'd been granted, but it was fine by her. As long as she had her parents and the forest, she was as content as any child her age would be. However, a few months after she celebrated her ninth birthday, Team Rocket moved into the peaceful Viridian City. The Viridian Forest became the breeding ground for many foreign, rabid Pokemon, many of which were angry about being taken away from their homes. Ignoring her parent's warnings, the girl ventured off into the woods to play with the Pokemon she had befriended like she had every other day. Her parents, worried for her safety, raced after her to stop her from entering.
It was a Dragonair that did it.
The three were attacked by the great dragon-type Pokemon just after the two adults managed to convince their daughter it was to dangerous to go outside. Yellow was knocked out, hit into a tree, and fell unconscious. When she came to, she was being cared for at the Pokemon Center. The nurses there explained that her parents had died shielding her in the attack.
Yellow moved in with her Uncle Winston after that. The Man was known for his excellent fishing skills and his jovial personality. The girl had never met her uncle before that point in time and was very wary of him at first. However, one day, when he invited her to fish with him, the two developed a certain bond that would remain with them over the years. Yellow grew to love fishing, enjoying it as much as drawing – if not more so. Though she no longer had the forest – her uncle lived very far away in the Kanto region, you see – she came to love her new home. It was at this time, living with the fisherman, that she first discovered her special abilities. The Doduo Winston had gifted her had been cut by a stray branch on its forehead. She was only trying to assess the damage but, instead, when she touched the flying-type's forehead, she was in for a shock. The wound seemed to heal itself upon her touch. Confused, she assumed that it hadn't been as bad as she thought it was or that her Pokemon healed much faster than she did. But then she caught onto it's thoughts, reading them like one did another's mind. When she ran to tell her uncle, he explained that she was a trainer with very rare abilities.
For days afterward, she tried to hone her abilities, not bothering to keep them secret from anyone. At first, she could only heal or read thoughts and emotions if she strained herself very hard or she was more worried than usual. Eventually, it became easier and easier for her to do those sort of things. Eventually, she developed a faint sort of telekinesis in which, if it was on a string, she could move a Poke Ball very slowly at will. Also, as her uncle noted, when she grew especially upset or angry about something, her Doduo's levels increased drastically at a frightening pace. The fisherman moved to Viridian City during this time for work purposes, allowing the girl to return to the Viridian Forest like she had dreamed of doing. Team Rocket had been driven away by a boy from Pallet Town in her absence and the Pokemon were once again free. She met her current partner, Chuchu at this time after finding the Pikachu injured and alone.
The girl was going on a fishing trip with her uncle one day at the Vermillion Bay, hoping to find some different types of fish that neither would be able to obtain in Viridian City. Winston told the girl to watch the boat for him while he went to get something. Of course, the sea only seemed to make her more tired than usual – and she got tired fairly easily on normal occasions – and, within the span of twenty minutes, she was fast asleep, alone, save for Chuchu who rested with her. When she awoke, there was nothing but... sea. Water. For a moment, she freaked out, wondering how long she'd really been asleep for and if she could get back to Vermillion City... whichever direction that was. After going over her options many times, she finally came to the conclusion to just wait it out a bit longer. If she came across land, great! She would be able to get back to her uncle. If not, well... She didn't want to think about it.
She eventually found herself in the newly discovered Lyeant region. Though she intended to return to Johto, when she discovered there was limited contact with the other regions, she eventually decided staying there for the time being would be best. Besides – that meant there were just a whole lot more fish to catch and much more things to be drawn!

POST EXAMPLE;;
A deep red painted Karma's face. She was furious. With Soul, the frog staring at her, her inability to move her hand, and Stein for maybe being right. Maybe she wasn't ready to face him. Maybe she'd never be ready to face him. Tears stung her eyes. What was the matter with her? She was stronger than that! Crying wasn't a cool thing to do. Big girls don't cry, right? When had been the last time she'd cried...?[/blockquote][/blockquote]
A trip down memory lane brought her to the piano. A gorgeous grand piano her mother had given her father for Christmas before Karma was born. Her father had just placed her on the bench, agreeing to teach her to play the beautiful instrument. His fingers lay on top of hers, showing her how to play a C major scale. She tried it on her own, filled with wonder at how she could play notes that sounded lovely together. Her father would be so proud of her, she knew it. But then...
Clasping the scalpel with both hands, the scythe brought the tool down on the center of the animal. A spot of blood splattered on her cheek, soon to be washed away as tears fell from her eyes. Again, she stabbed the frog, trying to contain her sobs. She wouldn't cry in front of Stein. She wouldn't cry in front of anyone. If no one saw it, it never happened. She'd never cry again. "I'm not afraid!" she yelled, punctuating her sentence with another stab. "I'm not! I'm not! I'm not!" Again and again, she stabbed the poor creature, screaming out every time metal met flesh.
Through watery eyes, Karma stared at the mangled remains of the frog. When the time came to face her father, could she really do that to him? She had said that she wanted him to hurt by her own hands, even if that meant killing him, but... Sinking to her knees, Karma let the scalpel fall out of her hands. "I... I can't..." she whimpered. "Mama... Why...? Why can't I...?" Finally she broke down, sobbing into her bloodstained hands. "Mama, why?! Why did Papa hurt me??!!" she screamed, regressing into a childlike state.
