The first thing most people notice first about Gen is his long spiky red hair. Now, we're not talking a ginger color. His is actually red, like the color of a tomato. It's almost always tied back, and pulled his forehead is usually a bandanna of some sorts. He likes to change the bandanna depending on what he's wearing on the certain day, but a lot of the time it's just white. He really likes his long hair, and you'd have to be really lucky to see it down. Even though he knows that most men have semi-short hair (unless you're Silver ;D) he would never want to cut it unless his life depended on it. His eyes are, even though it's hard to tell, a warm brown color. Wrapped around his body are long lines of tattoos he got about a year ago. They're all over the place, even on his face and neck, but one can only see the rest if he takes off most of his clothes. Now lets face it, who wouldn't want to take off those clothes? However, you'd have to be one lucky girl (or guy xD). He doesn't like taking off his clothes in front of everyone, even if there's nothing bad to hide. You'd have to squirm into his personal life real close.

Now, onto the clothes section. Gen's normal selection of clothes is usually a long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored jeans. The shirts are usually darker colors as well, and he likes to wear red. (it matches his hair, ya know ;3) Clothes aren't a big deal to him. He spends most of his money on other things.

PERSONALITY;;

Gen's attitude is altogether, cocky, self-confident, rude and harsh. He can have a harsh way with words, and he uses his words rather than fighting. In the past he's sent quite a few girls running away crying after he's through talking with them. He can be very cold and emotionless at times. However, he is a totally different person around his friends. Around his friends Gen becomes cocky, fun and outgoing. He is an amazing friend, even if some people tend to get on his bad side. He really doesn't like annoying people, especially whiny little kids, but because he's a gym leader there is certain stuff that he has to deal with regardless of the situation. In his mind, anyone who makes it to his gym is on their way to becoming a really strong trainer. He treats each trainer the same, which means he has to have extreme self-control. However, he loves his Gym Leader position and would trade nothing in the world for it. He often thinks it would be nice to have a student to teach some day, because he knows that he won't be around forever. Many people don't even dream of messing with Gen, but there are certain people that push his buttons too far. Thus, the red head explodes in rage, and most likely beats the ever living crap out of the person, or if they're too small he'll beat up something around them, like a tree. It doesn't give him the same satisfaction as beating up the actual person, but it at least gets rid of the sheer rage, and he would be able to control himself once again. He often has trouble expressing his feelings, and therefore seems emotionless to others. He could care less if he is misunderstood. Gen doesn't have any plans for a love life, and has never been into the whole mushy lovey-dovey stuff that most people get involved in sometime in their lives. A lot of girls find him really hot and try to get with him, but Gen doesn't get the hint and just thinks they're weird, resulting in him ignoring them and the poor girls being left in the dust. Of course, love may find him some way (even if awkwardly) some day. Doesn't it happen to most people?

HISTORY;;

Ever since Gen was a little baby, he was raised and cared for by his grandparents. When he was only a month old his parents decided to move to the Sinnoh region, and were heartbroken when they found out they couldn't take Gen with them. Gen's father decided it would be best for them to leave the baby with his parents, and the red-headed baby's mother had to practically be dragged away to the airport. Gen's parents were never around to see him take his first steps, hear him speak his first words, or watch him play with Pokemon. The grandparents constantly sent pictures of the baby to his parents, and every day they regretted leaving. But, they couldn't come back. Gen's father had found a good steady-paying job, and they couldn't afford to move back. They could only watch from the sidelines as their son grew up.

It was obvious from the start that Gen would always be fascinated with bird Pokemon. He would often sit outside in yard and stare into the sky as the bird Pokemon flew through the sky. He grew up well, as his grandparents taught him his proper manners. He was a child that every parent wished they wanted. He was polite, respectful, and listened to what he was told. Of course, that was when he was around others. When he had learned to write he began to send letters to the parents he had never met, and the two would sit and tearfully read through their son's ramblings of his everyday life. Gen loved his parents even though he had never seen them in person. One day when Gen was about 10 a grey and brown egg arrived in the mail for the red haired boy. It was a present from his parents for his late 10th birthday present. They wouldn't tell him what Pokemon was inside, but promised that if he took really good care of it it would hatch into something wonderful. Gen took real good care of the egg, just like his parents told, and sure enough the egg hatched into Gen's most wonderful present ever: A Starly. From day one the boy loved his Pokemon dearly, and trained it to become really strong. By the time Gen was 16 his attitude had changed, but not his love for his Pokemon. The two became inseparable, and he had already started training more bird Pokemon. But them something unexpected happened: the parents returned home. Without any notice, Gen's parents showed up for the first time in the boy's life. At first he was a little nervous around them, and didn't know how to act. But the two smothered their son in love. They were extremely happy to know that Gen had become such a good Pokemon Trainer, and supported him as he trained his bird Pokemon. Finally, once he was able to, Gen applied for the gym leader position of Aria Village, his birthplace and the gym that would support him and the bird Pokemon he had trained so hard. Finally, after a week's wait, Gen was informed that he had been accepted as the gym leader of Aria Village. Gen's parents and grandparents celebrated with a huge party, but Gen didn't appear to be very excited. At least, not on the outside. On the inside he was extremely happy.

Now, Gen has been the gym leader for a little more than a year. He trains his Pokemon every day, and has yet to find a trainer that he couldn't beat in battle. He patiently waits for the day when a trainer will come into the gym and beats him with ease.
