A New Visitor... {OPEN!!}

“A brand new Region to explore,” thought Cheren, Unova’s Gym Leader from Aspertia City, a brand new Normal-type Gym Leader that is.
“This will be a good adventure huh Serperior?” He smiled as he turned to his long-time partner.
Serperior looked at him and smiled back as well.
It is two in the afternoon that Cheren had recently departed from Unova to Lyeant. It’s sunny with some clouds, but not a lot.
The lush breeze from the mountains filled the city’s air with healthy, fresh air. Serperior looked at Cheren as the wind came through and brushed on their faces.
“It feels like Nuvema Town. Where we first met, remember Serperior?”
The Regal Pokémon nodded in agreement and coiled next to his friend as he sat on a bench to rest from all the walking they’ve been doing.
Cheren checked his X-Transceiver to see if he had any recent calls. But… its inbox… empty.
The Gym Leader gave a very long sigh and patted Serperior on its head, “Looks like no one wants to travel with us huh?”
Serperior looked upwards at Cheren, and sighed as well.
He looked upwards to the sky, “You know Serperior, this is a good Grass-type place, and don’t you think, it suits you a lot?”
Serperior saw a small green leaf dance by in the wind and nodded silently.
“I wonder what kind of people and Pokémon we’ll meet. And what the coolest sites are too. I just have so many questions! Do you?” He turned to his partner once more.
Serperior looked at Cheren and nodded.
Suddenly, Serperior immediately stood up as a Trainer approached the duo…

"Things I can't repair" I'll break it to you. Gold had just finished eating a wonderful meal at a well-known restaurant in this amazing town, and had decided to go around the city in search of a good place to shop for Pokemon-related things; and maybe a couple things for himself. The raven-haired trainer loved the lively atmosphere of the place he had chosen to take a break at. People traveled around in large groups, excitedly talking about what their plans were for the day and where they were going to go. Honestly, Gold loved being around so many people. He felt some sort of comfort when he was surrounded by others, even if they were strangers. Sure, he had Aitaro, but the Ambipom couldn't talk back to him. It got really lonely without other people. Checking the small map that he had grabbed to help him get through the city without getting lost, Gold weaved around people so he wouldn't run into them. Aitaro stuck close to his side so that he wouldn't get lost, and the boy flashed a reassuring smile at the Pokemon. "Don't worry, I won't lose ya!" He told his friend, and looked down at the map again. Maps had always confused him. He honestly didn't know where he was going, and frowned and turned the map upside down. Was he holding it wrong or something? Not paying attention to where he was going, the boy didn't stop walking until Aitaro let out a warning cry. Gold stopped abruptly and looked up into the face of a large Serperior, his gold-colored eyes going wide in alarm. Jumping back a couple paces, he managed to drop his map and laughed in embarrassment as he noticed the snake-Pokemon's trainer next to it. The Pokemon had scared the crap out of him! "S-Sorry for freaking out like that!" He apologized, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. "I didn't see ya there. I was too focused on that darn map." He said, and reached down to pick up his small map. As he stood back up, Gold studied the trainer in front of him. He was about as tall as himself, probably around the same age too. He had black hair and blue eyes, and seemed like the type that would be pretty smart. Smiling wide, Gold looked back at the other guy's Pokemon. "Your Serperior's really awesome!" He told the trainer, and pointed a finger to himself. "I'm Gold and this is Aitaro." He said, and Aitaro let out a happy cry as he looked at the snake Pokemon. "Nice to meetcha!" The Ambipom greeted. The raven-haired boy smiled at his Pokemon before smiling again at the other boy. "What's your name?"

Serperior glanced at the boy as he was startled by his appearance.
“S-sorry about that! I didn’t see ya there, I was too focused on that darn map!”
An apology was all Serperior wanted to hear. He turned his head to then side, closed his eyes and smiled, “Apology accepted human, just be more careful.”
“Your Serperior’s awesome! I’m Gold and this is Aitaro,” Gold said pointing to himself.
The Ambipom greeted Serperior, “Nice to meetcha!”
“Nice to meet you as well,” Serperior smiled.
Cheren smiled at his partner, then back towards the other Trainer.
“What’s your name?” Gold asked the Aspertia Gym Leader.
“My name? It’s Cheren. I’m from the Unova Region and a Gym Leader as well,” he replied as he raised his hand up a bit to give Gold a hand shake.
