Okay, let's get this started. I've got less than five days - well, actually, with where I stand now, I'll have just under five days to get his completed, so... It's not my fault I find the most muse at, like, twelever in the morning when I'm being shooed off to bed and I'm all hyper and whatnot... - to finish this app and I haven't even started on any of the long sections. Oh, wait! That's right! Since I'm in the process of typing this as we speak, I have, in fact, already started. Hm. And I'm already getting of topic. I blame my mind at twelve twenty in the morning. I'll likely be going to be after this paragraph's dones so, if not sooner, so I mought not be as crazy throughout the rest of the app. Please forgive me. Wild Girl forgives me. This is why I'm playing her. X3 Anywho. You want to know what our darling little wild girl wears, don't you? Well, Sapphire, unlike some Pokemon characters, wears a variety of clothes. Let's go in order from least favorite to favorite, shall we? Yes, that sounds nice. And we've only got, like, four outfits anyway. That's more than Gold and Silver's outfits in teh series combined and they've been in more arcs than Sapphire has been in! Poor, poor boys. They don't get fancy changes of clothes. Okay, first off is probably everyone's least favorite... 'cause they're not really even cloths. That's right, ya'll. Sapphire goes stark nakid. Well... sorta kinda. Hoenn, where this gal originates from, has plenty of leafy branches to be found. During her earlier days, so Pokemon were attracted to her instead of warded off by unnatural clothing material, Sapphire wore leaves. A branch that tied at her waist like a skirt and one across the top of her frame as a, well, top. Of course, since these are leaves we're talking about here, Sapphire really only takes up this outfit on rare occations and only when she's out in the feild, looking for Pokemon or trying to become one with mother nature or something. Ocationally, she wears a coat made of very dark, thick leaves that goes over her skirt and mini shirt. Of course, since she's been mistaken for a Pokemon wearing that, she's kind of tossed it aside due to embarassement.
Next, we find the very first pair of decent clothes she's worn since, I don't know. That frilly pink dress she had in all those flash backs? This outfit is the one she shares with her anime counterpart, May, from Ash Ketchup's days in Hoenn and the female protagonist of the games Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Woah. Who'd have guess. seriously? So what exactly does this outfit look like? Bah! Are you people silly? Do you even know who May/Haruka/Sapphire is? I don't think you do! So let me elaborate on this for you oblivious peoples out there. The main color on this outfit is red. Red, white, and black. Doesn't exactly fit well with her name or eye color, huh? First off, she wears a red bandana to cover up the back of her head and the hair that she always chooses to clip up. Or is it a tiny ponytail? We can never tell. There's a white poke' ball symbol on it, as well, because all outfits belonging to canon characters must have that symbol somewhere, I guess. Except for the Johto people, but they're just awesome like that. Her shirt is the same red color. It's tight and it a little difficult for her to get on and off, but I guess that's the price she just has to pay. It looks nice, though, you can't deny that. Short sleeved, it is - so much so that talk like Yoda, I must. It cuts off just above her hips with a collar that reaches only as low as her collar bone. Now, this next part's a little hard to explain, but, if you clicked on the pictures above, you should know what it looks like. The collar itself is really tall, with fabric that reaches up all the way past her chin. Er... just look at the pictures. I'm bad at explaining things. Right underneath that collar is a black, semi-circle. Oval? Yeah, it looks more ovular than anything. Below that, she wears a pretty short white skirt. Of course, why would a wild girl wear something so girly? Especially if she's going to be running like mad all over the place? Underneath it, she wears black biker shorts that are a couple inches longer than the skirt - just enough so they poke out a bit from a tide of white. Now, we've got to cover the accessories. Gloves, gloves, gloves. Yeah. She wears glooves. Why? Because gloves are awesome, that's why. They're white for the most part - just like her fancy little skirt. However, the fingers are colored black and the part right underneat the bottom of her hand - does that even have a name? - is the same dark color. She wears a tan pack of sorts where she stores all her Poke' Balls and other necessities that's wrapped around her waist with the actual bag behind her back. For shoes, they're just tennis shoes. A strange mixture of red, yellow, black, and white, maybe - oh, lookie! You've got Red and Yellow and Black and White! Do I sense SpecialShipping and AgencyShipping? *shot* - yes, but tennis shoes none the less.
The next outfit is a little different from the red one that she weats less frequently than, well, the one we're about to talk about. So. If that outfit is the one she wears in Ruby and Sapphire, than would this be the one she wears in Pokemon Emerald? For those of you who made that guess, you'd be... absolutely correct! For all you anime fans out there, too, you can compare it to the outfit May wears when she visits Ash Ketchup and company in Sinnoh. Yeah, that's right. I've seen those episodes. What a girl - such a goody two shoes compared to the Wild Girl we've got here. This outfit consists of four main colors instead of just three - red, black, white, and, this time, green. Wait a minute, Red and Green and Black and White? Ew, OriginalShipping! *shot again* She still wears a bandana - dude, the only time she doesn't is when she's in bed or when she's wearing her fancy shmancy outfit of leaves - only this time, instead of red, it's colored that green I mentioned before. The poke' ball symbol's also noticably larger than on her red one and looks more like random white stripes than an actual poke' ball. From there, she wears a red mini dress, black shorts, black, white, and green gloves, and a variations of the shoes from her red outfit. For her last outfit, she wears basically the same outfit, only all red and green parts have been colored blue. I'm rushing this, can you tell? Her hair is a darker shade of brown and is almost always tied up into a bun, pony-tail, clip, whatever on the back of her head. It tucks neatly under her bandana and almost vanishes. Thick strands of hair poke out from that bandana and clip, however.

PERSONALITY,
Yeah, I'm kinda in a rush here. Gotta get this done before my dead line and hurry it up so Pyral can RP with me. XD So let's get this started, shall we? I'll probably go back and edit this later - I am not going to leave this as short as it is now - but, for now, you can just read the strengths and weaknesses for an idea of her personality. For now, I'm going to talk about some things that you won't find on that list. I'll elaborate a bit, but not as much as I would usually. Right now, we're going to talk about how much of a tomboy she is.
Yeah, that's right. The Wild Girl is a tomboy. Her clothes can kind of give that away... sort of. I mean, a lot of the other female protagonists wear very feminine looking clothing - save for White, Hilda, Touko, whatever you wanna call her... Sapphire, however, does not. Sure, she wears a skirt and a mini dress, but wears shorts underneath them both and neather are really frilly or anything. And her color schemes are pink or purple or pastel colors. She's into more things that guys would like than girls and almost vomits at the thought of shopping or makeovers or your typical stuff like that. However, she very much enjoys nature, guessing as she spent so much time with it.
And that's all you get out of me... for now.

FAMILY,
- Mother: Unknown
- Father: Professor Birch
- Siblings: N/A
HISTORY,
Sapphire Birch. Who does that name remind you of? Can't think of it? Think a little harder. Who in the region of Hoenn - the region she originated from - has the name Birch? Yes, that's it. Professor Birch! Sapphire is, indead, the daughter of said professor. Her mother died when she was very little, however, and left the man to raise her on his own. Maybe if her mother was still there to that day, she wouldn't be such the Wild Girl that she is. However, it wasn't her mother's death that caused her to become the person she is. We're going to get to that in a little bit, though - let's start from the beginning, shall we?
At a young age, Sapphire was a fragile young girl. Her father had gained some wealth from all of his important work and contributions to the world of science and the two lived happily in a small town called Little Root where the man's lab was. She was quite girly at the time - especially compared to now - and was fond of, well, everything a little girl her age would be. The outdoors frightened her, so she often stayed indoors while her father clocked away at his keyboard, hard at work with every passing day. The professor had a friend who lived in Johto - a man named Norman - who was planning on applying for the open position as gym leader in Petalburg city, not far from Little Root. Norman had a son who was roughly young Sapphire's age and intended to bring the boy along with him so the two could enjoy themselves as their fathers were off at the gym a few towns over.
Sapphire and the boy got along fabulously. The two were friends from the instant they saw each other. Being the son of such a skilled trainer, the boy she befriended was quite good at Pokemon battles, showing his skills off for the girl numerous times. Eventually, he managed to coax her out of her hom and into the wild where they played and played, all day. They were happy together, she and he, and there seemed to be nothing that could ruin thei friendship.
Of course... Nothing gold can stay.
A Salamence. A Psuedo-legendary, mind you, meaning it was a very strong opponent. Sapphire was terrified at the moment of it's arrival. Honestly, both probably were. But the boy swore he would protect her from the wild monster no matter the cost. Displaying his wonderful battle skills, he managed to ward off the beast, though not without getting hurt terribly in the process. Trying to be strong for her, he reached out to help her up off the ground, telling her that he had saved them both. However, she reacted much differently. The encounter had scared her to a point that she broke down in tears, managing only to repeat the word "scary" over and over again. While the boy believed that she was more afraid at his aggressiveness and not the Pokemon itself, causing him to rethink his entire way of battle, she blamed herself for not being strong enough and causing that poor boy to get hurt so terribly bad.
And she hated herself for it.
Professor Birch's work shifted itself to be more outdoorsy, causing him to work out in the feild more than work indoors. One day, Sapphire told herself she would become stronger so no one would ever get hurt because of her again which meant that her silly fear of the outdoors needed to be conquered. Her father's feild work was the perfect oppritunaty. When she first offered to assist, the man was more than a little surprised but agreed due to how willing she was to help. As the years passed, she became more and more engrossed in the outside world. So much, in fact, that she grew to love it. More than she'd ever loved anything else. She tossed aside her frilly dresses for clothes that would make running and whatnot easier. Eventually, she tossed those as well, wearing a shirt and skirt of leaves instead so she could approach wild Pokemon without scaring them off. Her docile self gave way to a confident young woman and she finally achieved what she set out to do.
She'd become strong.
Battling became her life. Using the Torchic she'd been gifted from her father and the Aaron she'd caught along the way, her small team of Pokemon grew in strength. Eventually, she told her father she was going to conquer all eight gyms and get a name for herself. So set off she did. But beating the gyms was no easy task, especially with Team Aqua and Magma causing problems along the way. She trained under Winona for a while after growing particularly close to the flying-type gym leader in order to grow stronger and, after a while, she not only defeated the evil that plagued her region but also conguered all the gyms - all in under eighty days.
Inspired by her idol, the Kanto region's very own Red and her teacher, Winona, Sapphire jumped at the idea of a region filled with wildlife and open gym leader positions. After aquiring a team of powerful fire-types, she applied for the position and passed with flying colors due to her skills in battle, her name in Hoenn, and her astounding knowledge of the Pokemon around her. She doesn't know what happened to the boy from all those years ago - he could have been fighting along side her for some time without her even realizing it was him - but hopes to meet him some day to apologize for putting him through that trauma.

OOC NAME,
I'm being played by the lovely LEAP.
AGE,
She is a FOURTEEN year old.
MEMBER TITLE,
She'd like the words THE ONE AND ONLY under her username.
EXPERIANCE,
She's been RPing for a LITTLE OVER A YEAR.
POST EXAMPLE,
Why was she there? Let's count the reasons. One was very simple. Because she wanted to be there. Two was just as simple. Nothing. Well, it was all very simple in her own mind. Why would you go anywhere if you didn't want to? Pokemon trainer's were allowed to roam free, not restricted to certain areas by any person who might have been born before them and, therefor, their elders. They went where they wanted to go, an no where else, because there was no one to tell them otherwise. Wasn't that how it went? That was the entire foundation of a Pokemon trainer's life. They go on a journey because they choose to. They go from city to city because they choose to. They capture whatever Pokemon they like and train them because they choose to. There are no rules that tell them they have to, and no rules to tell them they can't.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
And the place this certain female had chosen to go to was the lush city of Erayo.
"Harmony! Harmony, over here!"
Ah, yes. Of all the places she could have gone - well, of all the places not half way across the region - Lyra had chosen this place. And who could really blame her? Beautiful, brown-brown colored brick roads and side walks, almost every flower to be found lining every building, and so many trees, she stopped counting after thirty-five within the first block of the city, this was one of the places she would most feel at home. Plus, the smell of food clung to her nostrils as she walked by the many, many cafes the area had to offer. The view of the mountains in the background was a pretyt awesome plus, too, if she did say so herself. So, there she was, practically skipping down the streets and weaving her way through the people there.
The brunette, however, at that particular moment was trying to earn her water-type Pokemon's attention as the mouse-like female stared in wonder at one of the many souveneir shops that lined the streets. This particular city had always been a place of many guests because of it's beautiful scenery, so tiny shops like these were not all that uncommon. All of the residential areas were half way across the city. But she didn't care. She liked this hald much better, anyway. Something in the window of said store must have caught her Pokemon's attention, as the creature seemed to be in some sort of self induced transe, her gaze fixed on the glass a foot or so away from her fragile frame. Oh, this would not do. Not do one bit. She wanted to explore the city, not sit around whilst her only Pokemon stared at a store for hours.
"Harmony!" she repeated, speed walking over to the blue creature. Perhaps, had that name come out of anyone else's mouth, it would have been cold and stern, filled with athority as they tried to snap the mouse out of it and intimidate her into coming closer. However, being the all to childish person she was, it came out as more of a whine then anything. Cold, commanding words? As if! She'd sooner turn into a Lugia and fly into the sun then talk with that kind of tone. "Harmony, over here! Come on, we've gotta keep goin'!" she continued, picking up her trusty partner from up off the ground and lifting her into the air. She struggled, trying to break from her master's grasp, but it was to no avail. A tiny squeak of joy made its way out of her mouth when her Pokemon gave in. "There we go! That's better! We've got lots to do, Harmony, lots! We've got to visit every candy store in town, remember? We're gonna be swimming in candy by the time we're done!"
Though the Marill was displeased, she went along with it. Why?
Because once Lyra made up her mind, there was no changing it.
And visit every candy store in town they did. Okay, well, that's a lie. There were a lot of such stores, and visiting everyone would have taken her all day, guessing as she was traveling by feet. Not like she had a choice - she'd never been able to ride a bicycle and she was to afraid to step behind the wheel of a vehicle such as that of an automobile. So, instead, she visited two, three, maybr four and bought all of the half decent candies she could buy. Maybe she couldn't be swimming in it, but there more here then she'd ever gotten during Halloween, and that was saying sometime. She'd also stopped by an ice cream shop and, figuring she wasn't in the mood for any ice cream, had them specially make her a cherry flavored lemonade with soda water to add an extra kick to it. Yes, with the sour drink and so many bags of candy she was beginning to have troubles carrying, she'd have her sugar fix covered for at least a month, if not five.
"Harmony!" she cooed, even though her annoyed Marill - who, coincidently was also having troubles carrying a large bag of candy - was waddling along side next to her. "Harmony, look! Over there! It looks like a park! You wanna go run in the sun a bit?" As if that hadn't been what the two had been doing all morning. And, quite frankly, the water-type looked more like it were about to collapse from exhaustion then it was ready to run out and have an adventure. Where her master got all that energy from, the Pokemon would never know. However, it was highly likely that, along with most other people the girl came in contact with, she was angry she couldn't have half the energy the brunette had.
The girl, though still struggling with the weight of the sweets she'd purchased earlier, managed to take the creature by the hand and practically drag it over to the large patch of open, grassy land, squealing in joy all the way. "Looky! There's a nice looking tree over there! Ya' wanna sit in the shade for a bit and eat some of our munchies?" Yes. That was probably the exact thing the blue sphere wanted to do. "Oh, you don't?" Arg, and the oblivious girl struck again, annoying the only person left in the world who wanted to talk to her. It was no wonder why she had little to no friends. "Well, we can run around later. My feet hurt!"
That was what the best thing the Pokemon had heard all day.
"You know,"" Lyra stated thoughtfully, her words muffled by the large amount of sugary treats in her mouth, "I kinda wish there was someone else here to share candy with. I mean, it's nice and all since I've gots you, but you're a Pokemon. I can't speak Pokemon like you do. Do you even undestand what I'm saying now?"
Sometimes, the Maril wished she didn't.
