[Drilbur Hunting.] Traveling the different area's of the Lyeant was certainly giving Zephyr more and more inspiration to take scenic photographs. Spending this priceless time with Buster his Scraggy was just as awesome, they were bonding quickly even after only having one battle so far. Zephyr felt that Buster was going to get lonely if he were to be traveling with only a trainer. It was time to find a companion for him. Zephyr and Buster had rushed through Yami Forest and Chisai Village. They had no need to stop there, plus Zephyr didn't particularly like bugs so his instinct kicked into get out of there as quickly as possible. Now they were faced with a path known as route two, and it looked to be a path that winded up the mountain side. Buster walked casually next to Zephyr's leg, he was ready for anything that came at him. Zephyr on the other hand wasn't the best to deal with heights, he didn't want to look weak to his partner though. Zephyr begun to walk up the winding path as he felt the light breeze of wind from before seemed to be strengthening, certainly these were conditions for the toughest of pokemon in his mind, he would have to wait and see though whether he was right. Zephyr noticed a sign with particular pokemon that journeyed the route, and one in particular made him eager to find it. As he looked closer at the picture he recognized it to be a Drilbur. It was a cool looking pokemon and would be a great companion for Buster.

It was a rather quiet day on the winding path up the mountain, and the Pokemon scampering around seemed to reflect such. The occasional Pokemon would scamper across the path, but give no inclination of battling or even interacting with the trainer as he ascended up the path and further into the route. It was only when he reached a stretch that seemed to have alot more room did he see the scene before him.
A small Drilbur was huddled against the side of the massive rock, with another Pokemon snarling and surely yelling at it in it's native tongue. Flames licked out of the Pokemon's mouth as it growled and attacked, while the Drilbur was helpless to defend itself. Although there was a type difference, something was stopping the Pokemon from attacking, and it seemed as though Drilbur was about to faint with the brutal onslaught the Growlithe was producing.

Growlithe continued to growl. Only Buster, when he came into earshot, would be able to understand the situation. Hopefully Zephyr could take action, though, before it was too late for the defenseless Drilbur. "How could you do that to my friend? You brute! You, You, Swine!" The Growlithe snarled, preparing yet another ember to finish the job. Drilbur whined to itself, something about It wasn't me or I'd never... Shut it! I'm going to end this once and for all! Yo-
Growlithe turned to face the approaching duo, and her lips curled into a snarl. You've called reinforcements, huh? Useless. I'll take care of them. The dog snarled, clearly blinded with rage. Without prompt, Growlithe started charging, flames preparing in her mouth to release an Ember towards Buster, whether he was close to Zephyr or not.

Buster was in earshot range to hear someone yelling at someone else. It didn't sound very nice either. Buster ran ahead of Zephyr and followed the path until he noticed what it was. A Growlithe was standing over the top of a Drilbur, and she looked as though she was ready to finish the poor pokemon off. Not if Buster had anything to do with it though. Zephyr watched Buster run ahead, he wondered why he seemed in such a rush. Soon his question was answered as he noticed what the Growlithe was doing. Buster was caught off guard thanks to paying attention to the injured Drilbur. Growlithe had shot an attack known as Ember at him, and it was burning his skin. Buster refrained from screaming in pain as he felt himself in dire pain from the attack. Not only had the Growlithe hurt the Drilbur from the looks of it, it had also made the wrong move by attacking him. Zephyr wanted to help the injured Drilbur out before it was to late, but the Growlithe was standing in front of her like a road block. Zephyr had just watched his Scraggy in pain from the Ember attack from the Growlithe, he knew for sure he didn't want to experience that pain so he felt it was best to just wait until the time was right. Buster needed no obedient command from his trainer, he knew what he had to do. Looking up to Zephyr Buster noticed that Zephyr looked angrily towards the fire type pokemon across from them. Seeing his trainer angry filled Scraggy's anger as well as he ran towards the Growlithe. Buster aimed at the fire type dog's leg's, he was going to use a move known as Low-Kick to try and injure a body part, to make her feel weak. Picking of parts of the body was a great strategy to not only weaken a pokemon's physical health, but also their mental health as most pokemon couldn't with stand extreme pain. So, the Pokemon was going to stand up to her? Foolish choice. The statement that Pokemon trained by trainers were stronger than wild Pokemon was merely a myth, and Growlithe was proof. She wasn't about to mess with someone she couldn't take, so it was time to take this pathetic excuse for a Pokemon down, and then finish off the sniveling Pokemon over at the rock. A little extra training in the morning never did any wrong anyways.
Heh, bad choice, stupid... er, whatever you are. She spat, fur bristling as she prepared another attack. The flames were prepared in her chest as she went in to strike, but Buster was in first. His feet scrambled under hers as he tripped her up, causing her legs to fall out from under her. Her face slammed into the dirt as she slid to a stop, as opposed to releasing her attack, as she had hoped.

That HURT! She snarled, rage bubbling up as she prepared to release the fire once more, with more intent than ever. The flames licked about at her mouth before she spat them out, straight for Buster. The Ember attack flew forward, and her eyes narrowed when Buster was in her vision. The pesky Pokemon was no good for her, and she wanted to be rid of him.

Buster launched his legs Growlithe's legs, once he had kicked them it took the fire type pokemon off her feet and she slammed into the dirt. Happy with himself Scraggy knew he had done a good job as he heard Growlithe yell at him that it hurt. Well she had better get used to the feeling of pain, because there much more it to come and Buster had only just started. Zephyr watched Buster run back to his original spot in front of him, he was making sure that no attacks would touch his trainer.
Growlithe was being a pain of a pokemon, it made Zephyr angry to watch the fire type pokemon using it's Ember attack each turn. Each time the fire type attack hit Scraggy it left him in pain, and also left different burn markings on his body. Scraggy this time let the pain of the Ember attack allow him to screech out in pain, it was better to let it out then contain it all. All this pain was having an impact on Buster, his confidence was beginning to lack as he wondered whether Growlithe was to much of a challenge for him. All these bad thoughts were rushing through Scraggy's mind. he was trying to shrug them away the best he could. Zephyr watched as Buster seemed to be in a dazed state from the Ember attack, he would have to snap him out of it as he said,
"Buster! Ignore the Growlithe, your much tougher then she is and she is just a bully. Lets show her why not to pick on that poor Drilbur over there" [/b] Buster could hear everything his trainer said loud and clear. It took his mind a while though to snap out of it's dazed state, but once it had he stared viciously towards the fire type pokemon. Scraggy was ready to trick the Growlithe and play mind games with it, it wasn't going to expect for him to disappear. Scraggy begun to run at a lightning quick speed as he ignored the pain his wounds were feeling, soon enough he disappeared out of both Zephyr and Growlithe's sight. Now the tables were ready to turn into their favor. Leer | Low-Kick | Sand-Attack | Faint Attack Gender: Male / Level: 13 HP: 40/55 Buster was hit by Ember. Buster uses Faint Attack[/center]

Growlithe watched as the Scraggy questioned it's state with amused eyes. An internal battle was probably happening, and Growlithe was the reasoning for it. Perfect. Perhaps Scraggy would realize he needed to ditch his trainer and run about with her to get stronger. That's how Pokemon lived, not inside little balls. After she was finished finishing off this mon, Drilbur was next. Questioning yourself? She teased, but to her dismay, the trainer started talking.
Oh just shut your gob, human... The pup rolled her eyes, but the speech seemed to have worked for the trained lackey. It began charging towards her, so she kept her eyes on him, waiting for the last moment to jump away. However, he disappeared. She didn't blink, did she? Glancing around confused, she looked about once more only to come face to face with the Scraggy and his solid look on his face. His fist was radiating in a dark aura, and when it impacted her face, she let out a whimper of pain as she rolled on the ground, slamming into the hard rock that was the mountain.

She let out one more whimper before closing her eyes and letting go, her body slumping into the temporary state that was fainting. Now, that left just the Drilbur at the corner, who was still alive, but barely. Her body shook occasionally, and she seemed to be muttering to herself.
Better catch it to save it.

Buster was getting peeved off when Growlithe begun to bad mouth Zephyr, out of all the things she could have done to peeve Buster off that was atop the list. Zephyr meant everything, and he hated it when other pokemon believed being a wild pokemon was the way of a pokemon's life and not traveling with a human, the wild pokemon were dead wrong. Buster disappeared out of sight, Growlithe seemed to be panicking. Buster re-appeared face to face with the fire type pokemon and thrust-ed his aura radiated fist into the Growlithe's face. The impact was priceless as the Growlithe flew backwards a few meters and fell silent, not moving. She had fainted, that would teach her. Buster could hear the Drilbur muttering to herself as she lay still against the cliff corner. Zephyr's Scraggy ran over to the injured pokemon and held onto her hand to keep her aware that she was still alive. Zephyr followed his pokemon's lead, they had taught that Growlithe a lesson not to pick on other pokemon. Nothing phased Zephyrs mind before he grabbed a pokeball off the holder on the side of his backpack. Quickly he dropped it above the Drilbur's head. It swayed left and right, once, twice, thrice before it stopped completely. Zephyr picked up the pokeball with Drilbur inside and begun to run back to Chisai Village to get the injured pokemon healed. Buster ran ahead leading the way, he genuinely felt sorry for Drilbur, a feeling he hadn't felt before for another pokemon.
