Will's Development {Plotting}

[Will]

Alrighty! Will needs interaction like everyone else despite him not knowing it (or refusing to admit it). For those of you who don't know, or haven't seen a post with him yet, he's a red haired youth with a seemingly permanent chip on his shoulder. No, he's not that Silver lad either.

Acquaintances:
The people he can use and tolerate which will probably be majority of the one chance meetings. He'll fake caring if necessary if it'll get him something in return. Don't expect him to stick his neck out for you. These will be nothing more than a stepping stone or something to throw away once it's used. Should this person help Will out, he'll see it as a debt that needs repaying.

Friends:
These will be the ones that actually manage to worm their way into his comfort zone. Slowly, surely, he'll see them as the aggravation that isn't really unwelcome anymore. Eventually a personal attachment will develop after wrestling tooth and nail for a foundation. Will may beat himself up mentally, but when push comes to shove he'll do everything he can to help them out. This is going to be a roller coaster for Will considering, he never really had friends. He'll have trouble trying to open up to them and be struck speechless when the help him out with no expectations of repayment.

Rival:
The more aggressive friendships will fall here. Will aims to compete with this character. Test himself and look at his accomplishments and compare with what they have. These people also have to show worth. If Will doesn't see them as anything special, they won't go here even if that character considers him a rival.

Enemies:
These are going to be the ones that Will doesn't like and they don't like him. Need a heartless jerk to hate on? Will can be that guy. Note that there is a find line between this classifications and acquaintance. Will is interested in seeing his enemies hurt. He'll aim to crush mercilessly without any remorse. This should be reserved for the more unsavory characters. Will can and is going to consider people that consider him and 'enemy' as an acquaintance that he can use. So just because he's on another character's enemy list doesn't mean they are on his.

Mentor:
Eventually Will is going to run into those people he can match with. Unlike Rivals, they'll have age on him. He'll look up to them. Perhaps grudgingly perhaps not. A father (teaching, strict/fair, things like that) and certain types of mother figures (caring, attentive, gentle) will stick. Big bro, older sis can get grouped here as well.

Siblings:
The brats that he takes under his wings. He'll be caring, but tough. Details probably depending on the brat. Overall, he'll try to teach them his more useful qualities and keep them from taking up his less destructive habits.

Lover:
One lucky...or unlucky gal will get this spot. They'll get to see passed all the layers of turmoil boil up to the top eventually. And get to see just how awkward or distraught Will can be when he actually cares about something. Expect emotional denial and a bit of distancing at first. Basically, she'll become his better half. This will be a rough road, but in the end maybe they'll both be a bit happier.

LORELEI && WILL

Temporary leader of Team Imum, what? Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what catergory you'd put her under. ... Aquaintences? That could work... AQUAINTENCES, OH YES. You mentioned something about Will becoming an anti-hero in the c-box. If you want, Lori can be the gal to convert him to EEEEVVVVIIIILLLL!!!! I mean... What? Yeah. She's cold. Dark. They're kind of alike. Maybe they'd get along well. :3

LYRA && WILL

OH YEAH, THEY'LL BE BEST BUDS FOREVER. Rolling down hill sides, frollicking through flowers, skipping with their arms linked... Camping at night, singing the Campfire Song Song from Spongebob. You know, "Let's gather 'round the campfire while we sing our campfire song~ Our C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song~ And if you don't think that we can sing it faster than you're wrong~ But it'll help if you just sing along~" I can sing that so fast, no one can even hear the letters. And, no, I DON'T sing jibberish just and pretend I'm actually speaking words. Lyra, Lyra, Lyra... She'd probably see Will in that way - singing campfire songs and whatnot - but I doubt the feelings would be all that mutual. I can imagine her being put into the "siblings" catergory - following him around and him trying to teach her the basics of being a trainer. Because, honestly, she'd got no idea what she's doing. And, you never know. Maybe she'll worm her way into his friend catergory later if she really grows on him.

GARETT && WILL

I don't know. XD Garett's kind of... my in between character. He's a member of Team Imum like Lorelei, but a goofball like Lyra. I think that leaves him right, smack dab in the center of it all. He's pretty good with Pokemon battles and has a good sense of justice... Maybe he could be one of the mentors? Though Will might just see him as a goodball idiot who takes nothing seriously... Even though his entire personality was based on the line, "No one takes this more seriously than I do". That line being courtesy of some guy who was peeking over his desk so no one would see his ducky tie (that he was being forced to wear) at a very important meeting. XD Perhaps he could be placed in the friends category? Or even just aquaintences?

[Night]

I think Kaitlynn could fit in here somewheres :3 although she's got a little crush on him, I'm sure he wouldn't go for her type xD so, I'd say she'd be a friend. If anything, she could learn a thing or two from him, and probably look up to him a lot.

[Will]

Well type isn't really an issue for me when I RP. I'd say that anything could happen given the time for development. The only thing that I'm sure of is that if he does find a better half, he's not going to two time them (as he hates any similarities between him and his father) and he'll most likely have trouble moving on. But for now she'd probably go from acquaintance to a sibling/friend relationship with him.
