Yawning Dove opened her eyes and stretched. Besides her her Zorua still slept. She had decided to name her Ivory. Letting her new pokemon sleep a bit more she decided to start breakfast. The two had camped just outside of ARDENT TOWN. As she walked to what remained of their camp fire she stirred the ashes and threw some more wood onto it. Just small pieces that where really dry to get it going. Once she had allot of hot embers she grabbed her pan and pot and started to cook.
Cooking was one of her favorite things. Her foster parents had taught her once she was taken from her father and she had found out that she really loved cooking. In the pot she made some pokemon food that should be good for a dark type pokemon such as Ivory. In the pan she made herself an omelet and hash browns. Once the food was done she put the poke'food in a bowl to let it cool and put her food on a plate to cool. While the food cooled Dove went and woke up Ivory. "Ivory time to get up we have a long day ahead of us."
Ivory yawned and opened her eyes when she heard her new trainer call her by her new name. Uncurling she slowly got up and walked out of the tent. At the smell of the food her mouth began to water and she quickly ran to her bowl and grabbed a piece. But the second it touched her mouth she yipped for it was still so hot. Thinking quickly she changed into a pidgey and flapped her wings sending a nice cool breeze on her food cooling it. She than changed back and took a small bite testing it. But she found her food still warm but not hot any more and dove into her food.
Dove smiled softly glad that her pokemon enjoyed her home made recipe. With her pokemon eating she to grabbed her plate and began to eat herself.

Following people around usualy wasn't a hobby that other's particularly approved of. Of course, when did the brunette do anything for the approval of others? She did what she wanted and for no other reason than that - that she chose to do it. That was the sole reason as to why she was there, watching the strange purple-haired girl go about her business. Sure, she seemed like a stalker. Sure, she seemed like a creeper. Maybe watching someone wasn't particularly good for one's reputation. But she didn't see it that way. She saw it as her waiting for an openning to meet a brand new friend.
What was she doing there? Lyra had been on her way back from Vardent Town - a pleasant little detour, if she did say so herself - and had decided to take the more scenic, less dangerous route. She'd been in and out of Yami's Forest twice already and didn't feel like travelling through there any more for the next week or so. Therefor, she'd claimed Route One as her pathway out of Vardent Town and to her next destination - where ever that was... Reguardless of her lack of knowledge of where her journey would take her, there was another matter at hand.
A girl with odd hair the color of dark... grapes. Was it dyed that color? Well, she had met a boy not long ago whose hair was as red as a deep scarlet and had been since the day he'd been born. Perhaps it was the same case with this female? The only way she'd ever find out was by simply walking up and questioning her. But something felt... wrong about simply walking up to this certain trainer. Maybe she was finally starting to mature in the slightest. Or maybe that fox-like creature was starting to weird her out. Knowing her, it was probably the latter.
"Harmony, Harmony!" the girl cried, not bothering to try and hide her voice at all. The fact that she was essentially stalking someone - someone who probably wouldn't be to pleased about being followed - never even registered in her mind as she spoke and she said her words as loud and proud as ever. The scent of Pokemon food had drifted towards her nose and, despite the fact that she wasn't a Pocket Monster, the scent beckoned her. "Harmony, I'm hungry! the pig tailed girl concluded, hugging her knees and becoming painfully aware of how her stomache grumbled ever so loudly. But she couldn't walk up and ask for a snack.
Not with that fox-like Pokemon there to scare her off.
"Ivory," the long-haired girl said, snapping Lyra out of her own, self-induced trance, "time to get up. We have a long day ahead of us." This statement sparked a bit of interest in the bubbly girl's mind and she peered through the branches of the bush she'd been using to sheild herself from site. What Was this girl planning to do that day, exactly? Probably something fun... she mused, pressing her face closer to the prickly leaves and branches. A wail escaped her lips as one lashed out at her baby soft skin, cutting it and leaving her utterly hurt.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" she screamed, leaping to her feet and jumping up and down as she craddled her now bleeding face. "Harmony! Harmony, you've gots to do somethin'! Hit me with a Water Gun or somethin'!" The Marill at her side who had remained silent the entire time let out a grown and rolled it's eyes. However, it did as told, firing a powerful spray of water that was aimed at it's master's face. A giggle escaped it's lips as said master was sent flying backwards, over the bush and into the camp the girl with purple hair had set up. "Ow, Harmony!" she sobbed after getting over the initial shock. "I told ya' ta' help me, not make it worse!"

Dove finished eating her breakfast and walked to a small stream that they had camped by and began to scrub her plate and the pot and pan clean. She wanted to make sure all her dishes where clean before repacking them up. Once they where sparkling clean she got back up and dried them on one of her towels in her pack and than placed them inside the tent. She was planning on staying her again tonight but she was going to travel around to train. Just as Dove reached the tent she heard something cry out. The voice sounded like a teenager like herself but at the same time it had a child like sound to it. Maybe it was a pokemon crying out. If it was it would stop soon.
Ivory finished her food and licked her lips. The food was delicious. She changed into a butterfree and flew onto Dove's shoulder. What was that noise? I've never heard anything like it." At the sound of someone or something crying out in pain she jumped and changed on accident into a Sewaddle and hid under Dove's hair with just her face peeking out.
Dove frowned, "I don't know I think it's a type of pokemon," but just than she was proven wrong as a jet of water flew past her just inches from her own face. But that wasn't what startled her it was the girl that the water gun had it. It was all a blur at first. She ran up to the girl as she hit the ground. The water gun ended up putting her camp fire out. She would never get it started again. It's not like she had a fire type pokemon. And besides all her wood was soaked through including the pile she had next to the fire to be used later that day. "Are you ok? It looked like you hit the ground pretty hard. If your ok than you need to talk to your pokemon. Look what it did to my camp. I'll have to find all new wood and build a whole new fire pit because of it. It took me forever to get the fire going last night."
Unknown to Dove her Zorua had changed into her twin when the girl appeared and now stood behind her with her hands on her hip. Only from behind could you tell it wasn't human for her tail poked through.

Okay, maybe ordering a water gun aimed for her face was a bad idea. I mean, she knew that there was someone there. She knew there was a camp fire that could have been destroyed by the stream of water. So why, one might wonder, did she order the attack in the first place? Well, it wasn't like she ever thought ahead or anything. All concequences were thought up after she did... Well... whatever she did. Sometimes, they weren't even concieved at all, leaving her absolutely clueless as to what happened as a result of her actions.
This was one of those times.
How did this female not realize that she was there, though? Of all the things she'd done behind that bush, one would think that she'd been doing everything to get the attention of the stranger she'd been watching. Well, it didn't matter then. After she'd been thrown over the bush, her secret was revealed. There was no turning back then.
""Are you okay?" the stranger asked, though there wasn't much sympathy in her voice. She sounded almost... scolding? "It looked like you hit the ground pretty hard." It was true - she had landed pretty hard. However, she didn't catch the hint that she was slightly upset about her fire being put out. "Owchy..." the girl moaned, rubbing her new injury and crying all over again when her Marill strolled over. "Why'd ya' do that, Harmony? Harmony, Harmony, that was really, really - Oh, hi!" It had taken her a while to realize that she had stumbled upon the presence of another but, when she did, she faced the situation with as much stupidity as ever. "When'd you get here? I didn't hear nobody comin' up..."
However, the female was continuing on. "If you're okay -" which Lyra was "- you need to talk to your Pokemon." "My... Pokemon?" the girl replied idiotically, as per usual, sparing her sphere-shaped partner a glance. "Why, what'd she do? Other than hurt me, ya' know, but I've gots ta' make her say sorry for that, anyway." The dark-haired female explained, "Look at what it did to my camp! I'll have to find all new wood and build a whole new fire pit because of it! It took me forever to get the fire going last night!"
"Harmony..." the brunette whinned, turning to her partner. "Now look whatcha did... You've gotta say you're sorry!" The Marill let out a huff, looking away and refusing to do as told. Not even noticing her partner's action, the girl looked up at this other person. "Ya' know, I've heard that ya' can start a fire with two big rocks! Ya' know, like..." Her gaze wandered across the campsite before landing on a decently sized stone. Picking it up with a squeal of joy, she frantically looked for another, eager to she this newfound "friend" of hers what she meant. However, there were nothing more than pebbles and tiny little stones good for nothing more than skipping on the surface of water. "Aw, man..." the girl pouted, kicking up dirt. Maybe I can just use one and hit it against the ground?
The idea must haave worked in her head as she tested it out, smacking the rock down into the dirt. However, instead of starting a fire like she intended it to, it merely picked up dirt that blew back in her face. "Ow, ow, ow, ow!" she cried, rubbing her eyes until every grain had either escaped her eye lids or moved into a spot beneath those lids where it didn't hurt at all. "Ya' know, I can help ya' find more far wood," she offered, thinking her fellow trainer had said "far" instead of "fire" and completely changing the topic. By then, she had recovered and was bouncing up and down in joy once more. "But... Where do ya' find far wood? Do we gots to go far, far away to find it?"

Was this girl for real? She had to be the same age as herself but she had the intelligence of a five year old and acted like one to. She looked to the marill that was padding out of the bushes and raced her eyebrow and looked from it to her fire pit. When the girl finally spoke she stood back up and faced her. "I've been here since last night. And by the sound of it you where the thing crying out." Sighing Dove walked over to the girl. If she acted like this all the time she wondered if there was something wrong with her. If she acted like this all the time than she felt sorry for her pokemon.
Walking over to the marill she bent down and rested her hand on it's head gently. "It wasn't your fault was it? Did she order you to use that?" The whole time she spoke was in a whisper. She felt bad for the pokemon talk about bad luck in the trainer situation.
Dove tried to smile but just sighed. "Yes that's how I started it last night it's not as easy as it sounds and you need lots of dry grass and twigs and leaves." As she watched the girl slam the rock in the mud she tried to stifle a life with little success. How she got any dust out of all that wet grass she wasn't sure.
"You want to help ok. But I don't need far wood. I need fire wood. and you can get that any where there are trees. But it has to be dry. It can't be wet or it won't light."

“Sorry, I couldn’t help but hear your conversation.” A boy appeared wearing a white shirt and tie. “Here! I have some fire wood, nice and dry!” He said with a smile, “Serperior helped me find them on the ground just a while ago.” The serpent Pokémon slithered and stood up next to his trainer. The young man had a sense of importance, like as if he was familiar to everyone. “If you were all wondering, I was just on my way to the next town.” He pushed up his glasses. Then, the serpent looked directly at one of the girls and squinted at the girl with her hands on her hips. “What’s wrong Serperior?” The young man asked. Serperior stayed silent and evaluated each person that was around it. NOTES;; Word Count: 129| Not too bad lol.
