One particular female had done a lot of things that others would deem "idiotic" in her life, but this... This was the best decision she'd made since befriending her old friend, Ethan. Being raised by a fairly decent family, she'd always grown up knowing that you're supposed to help people in their time of need. Well, this particular female was never quite good are understanding when people were, in fact, in a time of need. However, you'd have to be even more of a moron then she to think that someone wasn't in trouble, and that is saying something.
After all, not many people came out of getting run over by a bus of all things without any injuries.
Irisia City was the ideal place for someone like Lyra to go, which was precisely why she was there. Beautiful water ways that littered the city, archetecture that had few a flaw, and a view that almost couldn't be bested. That was the reason why the overall-ed girl had been running around that place wild earlier that morning. And, maybe, if her day had played out differently, that'd be exactly what she was doing at that moment, too. But there was something more important that required her utmost attention. IT was difficult, focusing on one thing, guessing as she has the attention span of a Pachirisu.
But that wasn't the point.
"When do ya' think she'll wake up?" Hearing words being utter by the girl's honey sweet voice when not in a musical way was a little odd for the Marill an arm's length away from where she was - the person whom she was talking to. The sing song tone of voice was used so frequently, it sometimes came as a shock to realize that she could talk any other way. But the blue creature constantly had to remind herself that her master frequently talked without using that high singing voice of her's. Well, frequent actually didn't mean as much as one would think, guessing as the girl talked nonstop all the time. And, if she was talking or sleeping in bed, she was humming or whistling which was almost as bad. Of course, if she was doing either of the two, she couldn't be rambling on and on about idiotic topics as she usually did.
The mushroom hatted female was kneeling down on the ground at that particular moment, her elbows on the edge of her bed and palms of her hands propping up her head. She wasn't sleeping in that bed at the moment, of course, and it wasn't actually her's. The bed belonged to the Pokemon Center, guessing as this was one out of their many rooms that she had rented. The person sleeping in the bed was something like someone you'd see in a comic book. Well, not like her attire made her all that realistic, herself, but who in their right mind would walk around town with hair a bright shade of crimson?
Not that the odd, somewhat spikey hair added to the realism.
The person - she was seriously having difficulties deciding the gender - had been walking across one of the few streets the town had to affor, guessing as most transportation occured over the many water ways when a bus had "come out of no where" and ran them over. A lot of people had just stood there, baffled, as they watched the battered figure on the street. However, when the brunette saw, she jumped to the rescue and did everything in her power to help the person. In the end, she was reduced to dragging them all the way to the Pokemon Center. It wasn't all that far away, but the person was heavy.
The nurse at this particular Pokemon Center had said that, over all, they were fine. They'd be pretty sore when they awoke and really sore when the morning came but, other then that, there were no major injuries. They also suggested that she didn't drag an injuried person ten blocks next time, in case of an emergancy. Some of the aches would have come from her tugging hard on the person's arms. They then left the figure in her care and she'd been watching them for quite some time. Three questions had come to her mind, all of which she had been able to answer.
Musculine girl or feminine boy?
... Musculine boy.
Age?
Hm. Scarlet seemed fitting due to that hair of "her's".
Chances of obtaining a new friend?
One hundred percent, obviously!
"I just can't wait ta' see what kinda person she is," the pig-tailed girl sighed happily, her head falling to the mattress of the Pokemon Center's bed. "What do ya' think, Harmony? Think she's gonna be nice? ... Yeah, I think she is..."

Why, why, why had he come to this city?!... That was probably a very good question as he couldn't remember very much other than a flash of light, a serious pain in his head, and the feeling like he was being dragged against thumbtacs. Well whatever he came there for would come back to him... maybe... if it was important enough. It most indefinitely wouldn't involve getting hit by a very large, and very blunt metal thing, would it? Surely not. Well, he hoped not anyway.
Well back to the being dragged on thumbtacs, which he was fairly sure he was as his body was not only numb but the movement felt like something ripping off his skin; brought him to the question of where was he. After some more painful dragging; at least he thought it was dragging, the scraping feeling of his head rubbing against cement or wood or both with the occasional bump would definitely fill the definition of 'being dragged' in his dictionary. There was also the feeling of someone pulling his arms to move him. Well that meant it was most likely a bystander. Undoubtly, that made him want growl out for this idiot to stop before it pulled the skin off of him.
Well that wasn't going to happen, as what definitely was a bump knocked him unconsious. What a wonderful blackout. NOT!
Snooze... How long did the darkness last before a horrible, horrendous, and every other huge word meaning bad could describe the ache in his head. It felt like something came, something with a really big, blunt thing, and smacked him in the head hard. Poor Silver; little did he know something really did come and was big and blunt and was the cause of his pain... or at least some part of it. Ah, well at least he could remember where he was. Irisia City, home to the many, many water canals and a gym that he didn't care to try and remember. After all he couldn't even remember why he was there in the first place. Well, the main question at the moment would be where was he. Well somewhere much dryer and warmer than before. An inside feeling.
It'd be better to just open your eyes... He thought to himself; with that he opened an eye. It was inside indeed and he was on a bed. He closed his eye before opening both together. Sweet Arceus that light was painful! Forced him to blink a few times, before scanning the room. Of course the several, probably, hundred aches on his body ached fiercly. Now instead of analyzing the room, the boy was cursing whoever dragged him in the first place. Didn't they know that an injured person shouldn't be injured some more?! Oh how he wanted search around for the moron who gave him these pains. He apparently didn't have to look very far. In fact all he had to do was turn his head.
Oh you've got to be kidding me...He growled as his eyes wandered away from the girl who sat so close, well next, to him.

The wait for the girl to awaken was far to long for her taste. It seemed as though an eternity would have come and gone before the girl laying in the bed would awake from her slumber. Sadly, an eternity was much to long for the girl's liking. If she hadn't known better, she'd have slapped the sleeping figure awake, a lot like that one Pokemon move... What was it called again? Oh, right - wake up slap, she thought. But it woul be mean of her to do anything of the sort. After all, this person had been run over by a bus of all things. Slapping them in the face, hard enough to wake them up, would only add to the injuries.
Like she hadn't already done enough by dragging her quite a ways.
"Harmony!" the girl snapped out of random, causing her partner to leap in the air with a start. It wasn't at all in a cruel way - the girl, again, didn't know the meaning of the word "cruel" - but it was loud and abrupt enough to startle anyone. "Harmony, be a good girl an' get me some cold water!" The water-type blinked, trying to wonder if this was some joke or if her trainer honestly didn't remember that she could spew cold water frmo her mouth any time she wanted in the form of the move water gun. A horrified face had taken the place of the girl's typically spacey looking expression, and the girl started to grow hysterical. "Harmony, what if this girl's dieing?" she cried, her head shotting up and the palms of her hands darting to the sides of her face. "That'd be why she hasn't woken up yet! We've gotta save her before-"
Suddenly, a slight movement under the bed cheets caught the girl's attentions. The brown-eyed girl's eyes darted to the sleeping girl's peaceful face. "Oh, Harmony! Harmony, she's not dead! We've gotta celebrate!" Lyra's hands were thrown into the air above her head in utter joy and she lifted herself to her feet. The sound of feet pounding noisily against the floor indicated that she had began to dance. However, upon looking back to the girl who had, supposedly, woken up, there was no change. Was it... nothin'...? Maybe she was just movin' in her sleep... When nothing else happened, that was honestly what she began to think.
And then a single silver-colored eye openned.
The girl did everything she could do to not squeal in joy when the eye closed and the second was openned along with it. The girl looked around, taking in every part of the room, before her cold stare landed on the brunette. Those eyes... They weren't happy in the slightest, were they? But the girl brushed it off, beaming like she'd just been gifted ten pounds of chocolate. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me..." she grumbled, looking away from where she stood across the room. What? Was she just so adorable the other female didn't dare look at her for to long? Testing this variable out, she ran across the room, jumped in the air, and landed sloopily on the girl's legs with an oof. Shifting herself into a position where she stood over her - palms on either of the figure's sides and knees around the legs she'd just crushed - the pig-tailed girl leaned in close and smiled.
"Hi, I'm Lyra. This is Harmony. What's your name? Where did you come from? How did you get here? What's your favorite color? What's your least favorite color? I like the colors and red, to be honest. Not orange. Orange is yucky. What's your favorite food? I like mac 'n' cheese! It's so gooey and sticky and yummy~! Nothin' is better tastin' than mac 'n' cheese! How old are you? Are you a Pokemon trainer? What kinda Pokemon do you gots? I've got a Marill! I like Marill! They're really cute! Are you a boy? Or are you a girl? I can't tell. Ya' gots such long hair. Is your hair on fire? I can put it out with Harmony's water gun if ya' don't wanna burn to death. Oh, and will you be my friend?" The words came out in such a rush, the "girl" would be lucky if she understood anything past "Hi, I'm Lyra. This is Harmony. What's your name?".
"Ya' got hit by a big bus, so I got ya' here to the Pokemon Center! They told me I need ta' look out for ya'. Isn't this gonna be so fun~? The girl sang in the poor person's ear.
NOTE;; OH MY GOSH. YES. YOU PLAY HIM PERFECTLY. i listened to THIS song while typing up my post. ^^ I'm in a Final Fantasy kind of mood today.

"I look at the sky" 'And the daylight burns my eyes' "Now, I'm guilty" But you're filthy
A darker version so the text is easier to read. Still for Kitsu. The person who plays Crystal gets a free table, too, keep in mind. :3
Of all the things in the world, he had to be dragged to a room most likely by some random girl who didn't exactly look like her smarts were her best attribute. In fact he could just guess that she was the one who had dragged, not even heaved but dragged, him to this place. Where ever this 'place' was. Most likely a hospital hopefully yet it seemed to be lacking the 'hospital' feeling. In fact it looked more like a pokemon center... Did she drag him to a place that treats pokemon and not humans?! Oh the horror of wondering just how bad his 'head-ache' really was. After making the mistake of looking around he had closed his eyes and now he was about to turn onto his side until some sort of pounding vibrated the floor and there was an extremely painful crushing feeling on his legs. So painful, he couldn't even curse how bad that not only suprised him but hurt.
What was wrong with her?! This weight could be this insane thing of a girl purposly trying to smash his body to non-functioning! If that wasn't bad enough, even with the breath knocked out of him from pain the girl was tweeting. It wasn't even 'talking', no she was tweeting. Tweeting like one of those chatty bird-pokemon. It was so fast that all he heard was, Hi, I'm Lyra. This is Harmony. What's your name? Where- And he was lost after that. He was practically glaring at her the entire second she spoke; okay no it wasn't 'practically', he was glaring. And it was no light 'I'm going to hurt you' looks but one of those 'You freaking insane lady, get off' death-glares.
Oh he was not happy but he might as well answer before she started... 'talking' again. Yeah that wasn't talking, talking wasn't that fast. He made a heavy sigh, First, get off. Second, my name is Silver. Silver Steele. Third- Was that even english you just spoke? That was a bad idea. He just asked a insane girl a question and now he was going to pay for it dearly. What was he thinking?! Well he wasn't thinking very much apparently...

“I can’t believe no one replied my PC calls on coming to Lyeant?” He spoke gruffly and turned away from the PC in the Pokémon Centre as he turned the PC off. “Serperior, what should I even do now? Was this all a big mistake?” He began to doubt himself. The Regal Pokémon looked at him with discomfort for his long-time best friend and partner. He has never seen him in such despair before. The young man brought himself together and pushed up his glasses and fixed his red tie. “Well, Serperior, I guess we should head out huh? We can wait a little bit longer huh?” He said as he patted the serpent on its head. The serpent smiled back at his Trainer and followed him as they made their to the foyer of the Pokémon Centre. Serperior quickly turned its head at the sight of the commotion not far from where they were standing. “What’s wron- oh…? There are some people over there… And there’s someone that’s on the ground… And they look hurt! Come on Serperior, let’s check it out!” NOTES;;Word count: 183| I know, I know, it's TINY. There was a funny thing about dealing with particularly irritable people who one had just finished dragging halfway across town in order to take to a place where they could be treated. Don't take Lyra's approach. Because, honestly, if one were to take advice from her, they would likely end up in jail or end up as stupid looking as the pig-tailed female and that is not something to strive for. Really? Who in their right mind would want to end up as stupid and oblivious as that? Well, other than herself, of course.
But Lyra was stupid and oblivious, so she had an excuse for handling the situation the way she did. You know, practically the exact opposite of what one is supposed to do at a time like this? The girl's - or was she actually male? Seriously, it was beginning to bother her - anger wasn't even registering in her mind, her thoughts clouded by the excitement of meeting a new person who, in fact, she had just saved. Well, saved in her eyes, anyway. That, and the fact that everything was made of sunshine and lolipops and rainbows in the infantile mind that had been thrown into her skull in place of a normal seventeen-year-old's mind.
There were a lot of things to look at, examine, inquire about the gender confused person who was trapped in a bed made for spending the night and not recovering from getting run over. Well, not quite gender confused, but their gender was certainly confusing her. That hair - honestly, if anything was throwing her off about their gender, it was that - was such a bright shade of red, it almost didn't seem real. Part of her wanted to reach out, grab a few strands, and yank them out if only to play with them and see if it was a wig or not. It... looked like real hair... But certainly that wasn't his natural color. She'd been lead to believe that, unless something changed while she was on one of her frequent trips to her own little world, people were not born with that kind of hair color, but people also did not dye that hair that color without it looking weird.
But it looked... nice on them.
It fit.
There was something familiar about their outfit, she had also noted while dragging the limp body there. Well, not the outfit itself but the colors. Lots of reds and blacks. She, herself, wore a lot of red, but... didn't someone else? Yes, there was another boy... What was his name? Gah, she was awful at remembering things. Maybe it would come to her after a bit of talking to the person. That's usually how it worked out - she'd be talking, a thought would occur to her, and she'd yowl out her latest discovery for all to hear. The people who wanted to know and, unfortunately, the people who didn't.
And then there was her landing sloppily on his, her... its legs. She was surprised when they didn't make a sound at the collision of her thin frame against their legs. It was an accident, truly - she was very clumsy, you see - but it still must have hurt. Didn't people yelp or say "ouch" when they got hurt. And then a thought hit her in the head like a speeding bullet, making her feel a little silly for not thinking of it in the first place. Oh, I get it! They're really, really strong, right? Yeah, yeah, that's gotta be it... She giggled loudly and out loud for the person to hear, though she didn't bother to explain why.
Then came her swift speech of sorts. where she spoke so fast the only one who could understand the words coming out of her mouth were herself and the Marill who had grown so used to it that she could make out over seventy-five percent of what came out of the brunette's mouth. The male... female... person was obvious displeased with her - anyone would have been able to tell. Well, everyone but Lyra. But she was always oblivious to such things and this time was no exception to that very special rule. A sigh escaped their mouth, tired and upset all at the same time, and then the spoke for the second time during the entire encount. "First, get off." It was an order, not a question.
"Aw, b-but... why?" she begged, her face giving way to an honestly hurt expression. Then, the idea that her position over top of him might have been just the slightest bit awkward was concieved and she giggled a bit more before getting off. "'Kay, there. I gots off o' ya'." By then, they had already begun talking again. "Second, my name is Silver. Silver Steele." "Eh? Silver? But... I dno't see no silver 'round you or nothin'. Ya don't gots any steel, too... You sure?" With that, he finished with a question - a mistake on his part. "Third... Was that even English you just spoke?"
"Wha'? Was that English? Course it was, silly! I don't speak nothin' but English. Well, I guess I go speak a li'l Pig Latin... O-day ou-yay eak-spay Ig-pay Atin-lay oo-tay?" she asked, beaming at him. The idea that he looked like someone else came to her once more and, finally, she recognized who she was thinking of. "Oh! You look kinda like ma' friend, Gold! He's got lotsa red an' black on 'im, too, ya' know! Er... Do you know Gold?" Maybe it was rude to talk about other people, especially when they weren't around to hear, but it'd be neat to meet someone who knew the raven-hair boy as well as her.
"Oh, yeah! I've gots a question for ya'..." she said, remember how she just could not tell what gender he was. "Are you a girl? Or a boy? 'Cause, really, I don't know."

Cheren saw the girl literally drag the other hurt… Girl? …Guy? His view was too obstructed to see the gender of the red-head that was injured. Serperior did NOT look amused, rather, it looked annoyed. “So… You want to know what happened out there huh?” Cheren spoke to his displeased partner, “You know… That other person didn’t look THAT beat up… He must be tough. I’d be in pretty bad shape.” Serperior nodded in agreement, then immediately turned impatient. “All right, all right, we’ll go see them Serperior! Just stop glaring, it’s creepy!” Cheren sighed then fixed his tie. Cheren walked up the stairs towards the pig-tailed girl’s room. Serperior slithered along and glared at the door knob. “I’m assuming it’s locked, but oh well.” Cheren knocked on the door once… No answer. Serperior sighed, “How long does it take a female human to open a door?” Cheren knocked again. No answer. “Oh what a bother… Serperior, I doubt they’ll answer at this rate.” Serperior huffed in annoyance and coiled itself on the right side of the door frame. “Well, I guess the only thing to do is wait patiently…”
NOTES;; Word Count: 190| okay, I read some stuff wrong, so I fixed it now! My brain was mush from all the movies.
