Hataro is very noticable for his long dark brown hair which he ties in a small pony tail right before the tip. It goes down to the middle of his back, and he allows his bangs to frame his face. He has very fair skin, and his eyes are of a very pale color, from afar seen as white. His pupils aren't visible, but he has perfect vision. He has a very athletic body type, and usually stands in a calm, serious, and mature pose. While still composed, Hataro looks to be more calm, confident, and mature, rather than challenging.

He always wears traditional robes: a white shirt with long loose sleeves, closed on the right shoulder, with a fastener running down the right part of the chest, matching pants, with a dark navy grey apron-thingy tied around his waist and black traditional sandals on his feet. He is also usually seen with a large tan and black drawstring bag, which he carries over his shoulder. Underneath his robes, he wears a dull blue shirt with a mesh t-shirt underneath. On his forehead, he wears a sort of forehead protector. The symbol carved into it is the symbol that his family used to represent their business.

As a Mightyena Gijinka, he has the dog-like ears which he almost always has held back, even under his headband, and the ruffled tail which he doesn't show most of the time.

PERSONALITY;;

Hataro most likely isn't the type of person you'd want to have a pleasant conversation with. This is because he can be hard to deal with, and its very likely that he won't give positive feedback if he doesn't really like you. But from a far, without getting to know him better, most would immediately stereotype him as a "cool" guy.

Hataro is very short-tempered and often may overreact to some things people say that offend him. Being somewhat sadistic, he enjoys beating up his opponents brutally in a pokemon battle, and in a normal battle, and truly enjoys making his opponents suffer. He calls this "punishment", and has a habit of saying to people who truly anger him, "How dare you!" or "Why, you!" He actually, however, has a respect for artistic things, such as well written calligraphy, and fancy traditional Japanese themed art. He does get very defensive though when someone insults his calligraphy, and will usually try to talk it out with a battle.

He is proud of his power, to the point that he is simply unwilling to accept defeat, and if he can't defeat his opponent with his abilities, will try to defeat them with his yelling and screaming and cursing them. If that doesn't work, then he will simply tell himself that he is greater, and the scene almost always ends with him still believing he has won. His pride, however, would sometimes cause him to abandon strategy, in favor of tactics that let him show off his power, and overwhelm his opponents, cherishing their looks of awe and fear. But when a person truly stronger than him comes along, he despises them.

QUIRKS/HABITS;; Just like a Mightyena lets its black mane flow freely, longer than the rest of its fur, Hataro lets his hair grow freely, and only ties it to keep it out of his face.

Hataro's father was a proud mightyena, and his story is a rather odd one to tell. Well, in any case, most Gijinka have a unique story to tell. His story is an odd one. While some may say, "How cheesy and lame!", I honestly think that in a way, it's kind of a cute odd story ^^. Once upon a time there was a young female trainer by the name of (must suddenly come up with a name for this girl ><) Takara. Well, long story short, she got herself totally lost in the mountains after chasing what she thought was one of the might legendary bird pokemon, Moltres. She was always one to go and get herself into trouble or run off on an adventure, but maybe, this time she had gone too far, which she soon would have agreed with herself.
Well now she was lost in the mountains with no clue as to which way went where, and more importantly, which way was the way to get out of the mountains and back to the city. It seemed like every step and decision she made took her deeper into the mountains. But at this rate, she should have at least made some progress. It was none other than a gang of mismagius, that sought to lead the poor young female trainer astray. Takara soon figured this out, but her team of pokemon were defeated by the sheer number of mismagius. When all seemed lost and to give up seemed the only option left, a Mightyena stepped forward to protect Takara and her team. Using its powerful super effective dark type moves, it made quick work of the cowardly mismagius pokemon. Takara befriended the Mightyena, and he helped her find her way down from the mountains. The final parting was a sorrowful one, for the trainer and pokemon had formed a close bond even stronger than friendship. The Mightyena had fallen in love with Takara, and soon enough, she loved him the same way. Even after she returned to the city, she frequently went back t o the mountains to visit the Mightyena who had saved her life, and cared for her more than any other. So it was rather strange when Takara found out she was with child. (LOL)

Can you guess where Hataro came from?

Naturally, when Takara's secret was found out by her family and friends, they shunned her for having created such a relationship with a pokemon, and inevitably, Hataro became the target of their hatred. His mother loved him anyway, but he couldn't stand the shunning much longer. At the age of 12, he became a trainer, but still continued to receive the same harsh treatment from others. Some gym leaders even denied his challenges, with the reasoning that a pokemon couldn't be a trainer. Many people treated him as if he were no more than an animal. He was greatly angered by this, and vowed to change the world for the better. When Team Imum declared its goals, Hataro was persueded by one of the members to become a part of their team and help them in their goal to "change the world for the better", which was exactly what Hataro wanted to do. Now he has become an executive, and is a devoted member of team Imum.
