the heart and soul of the pokemon league, for without them, there would be no league at all.

Welcome, dear friend, to the gym leader, elite four, and champion auditions. Actually, scratch that. Is it wrong of me to call them auditions? Yes. Because, honestly, they're just first come, first serve claims. Like in every past region, the Lyeant Region has eight gym leaders who test the abilities and strengths of challengers, four elite four members who continue to test those abilities, and one champion who reigns above all others and justly deserves the title of best trainer in the region. The Pokemon League - all thirteen of the previously listed - also assist with political matters. This includes holding elections to replace old gym leaders and elite four members, running the land in general, and, most importantly, kicking the bad guys' butts. But, with so much power, who is to say nothing will go wrong? Perhaps one has become so obsessed with keeping the public safe that they have taken over the league and begun limiting individuals' freedoms. Perhaps two or more do not get along well and are always at one another's throats. Or maybe even one of them is a spy for Team Imum, working to corrupt the region at it's core and cause utter chaos. Whatever the story, it's up to you. Stake your claims on the positions listed below, following the form at the bottom while also taking into account the rules that must be followed in order to maintain your very important character.

note;; unlike the gym leaders and elite four, auditions will be held for the champion. however, this will be at a later date.

1;; all gym leaders/elite four members must be active. it is asked that you post with them at least once every week. if you are busy for whatever reason, then that rule shall be extended to two weeks. if you have not posted in three weeks, your character will be concidered not active enough and stripped of their title.
2;; you are allowed one week between the time of posting here and the time of posting your app before your reservation for the rank is up. if you do not finish your app and post it in this week, chances are likely your reservatino will be disreguarded and the spot will be open for others.
3;; canon characters - though part of me wonders why you'd want to do this - can be gym leaders or elite four members if you so choose.
4;; gym leaders have the right to deny a challenger their gym badge, reguardless of the outcome of their battle. this is highly unlikely, however, so don't go around being rude and keeping your badges all to yourself.
5;; all elite four members muct be challenged before having an official battle with the champion. therefor, if the champion is defeated outside of the pokemon league, it is not concidered legitament and will be disreguarded. the champion in this situation, however, has the option of stepping down to allow the challenger that beat them to take his/her place.
