The Basics

Okay, c'mon - I think we all have a general idea of why the site closed. Busy admins, lack of inspiration for posts, and - on my part - utter laziness. First off, I'd like to apologize for that. It was kind of stupid of me, in all honesty. But, this time around, the gloves are off. I'll put my procrastination and laziness aside and, in turn, I hope you all continue to work hard and do your part to make this a successful site. However, putting that aside...

Let's do the math. We've been closed since January... Roughly six months, I believe, that we've been closed. That's three times as long as we'd been open before the site was thrown into maintnence mode. Crazy, right? Well, I guess that means that we'll have to try to stay open three times longer then we've been closed! So, without further ado... Let's get in there and role play!

What Does this Mean for You?

For any new members... nothing, really. We've put our dead days behind us and are striving to provide a good environment for all of our members. Just keep doing what you're doing and you should be fine! For any returning members, however... There have been a couple of changes, though a lot are really minor and aren't really all that noticable. There's been a section added to the general information reguarding starter packs, a new department store for purchasing items for use in roleplay, the canon list has had a major face lift, and the site wide store has been slightly changed when it comes to said canons. We've also added Shizuka to our lovely group of staffers and made a whole crud ton of skins for you to choose from.

However.

You remember that problem we had a while back, don't you? You know, the one where we had so many threads at the lab as trainers scrambled to get their starters and moderators struggled to keep up with all of the threads? Well... no more! Unless you find it absolutely necessary to recieve your first Pokemon from the Professor's lab, you get to recieve your first Pokemon in a different manner. Now, you can choose any non-legendary, first or second-stage Pokemon the moment you finish your app! There's a section in the new application form that will ask you what your starter is, so just fill that out for any new characters and you're good to go.

But what about your old apps? Well, what I'm asking you to do is post a reply on your character's thread telling us, the staff, what Pokemon you intend to use. Their nickname, their gender, ability, move set... All that good stuff. If you're confused, feel free to throw a PM my way or consult my in the c-box over there if I'm on.

So What Now?

Well... That's really all there is to be said. You know what you need to do, whether you're a new or returning member. Now all there's left to do is role play! I'll be seeing you all soon!
