Purchase(s);; Irisia Gym (Subboard)
Description
the irisia gym is a rather tall piece of architecture. generally ebony in color with gold trim all around, this beautiful, symmetrical structure very much resembles a rather stylish castle, one such that you might only find in storybooks. its black, marble walls are polished shiny, while the entire building is decorated with sharp designs etched into the marble, as if to represent the medieval times styles found on a kingdom's banner. styled to the gym leader's own liking, this gym stands out above all the other buildings in irisia city, like the dark castle, home of the "bad guy" in folk tales, its roofs pointed spires with tall towers rising up towards the sky, and narrow, vertical windows. it is hardly even known what can be found up there; all that we do know is that the gym leader, shin'ichi makes this castle gym his home. surrounding the gym is a rising hill on which the building stands, the slope falling faster and faster until it totally drops, creating a deep chasm, not a moat, over which a similarly designed bridge crosses, leading up a paved path to the gym's front doors. the gym's front doors are built to open outward, two fifteen foot tall marble doors on oiled hinges, rimmed with gold and etched more than the entire structure itself in intricate carvings of several different dark pokemon fighting, such as absol, mightyena, umbreon, liepard, and many others. from the outside, there are few windows, but what few windows there are, are simple vertical openings in the castle wall, with small lanterns decorating them, even though the light from the lanterns offers little in the purpose of light than in decoration. if you were to enter, or peek in through the two side windows, you would see the battle area to be left dark when shin'ichi isn't around, however, during a gym challenge, the battle area, the main room on the ground floor is well lit by a central spot light on the ceiling, providing ample light for a spectacular battle to take place. LOL that as a side note, here's a much shorter version xD
