Anthony stood at the entrance to the caverns, with the stalactites looming deep within the dark confines of what was inevitably a great twisting maze of a cave. It would take quite an adventurer to go through these paths, regardless of how well they knew their way through. It was the pinicle of darkness, a place where light may have never shone in the history of the universe. It would be quite a challenge, and this particular hiker liked himself a challenge.
He proceeded to climb on top of it. Not because it seemed like the easy way out, but because he'd never heard of anyone doing it before. And more importantly, because he could. The mountainous area that stretched above the caves seemed impassible, but of course, no one had tried passing it before.
He gripped his inconveniently thick axe and drove it straight into the hard rock walls outside the walls of the cavern. It didn't stick there of course, that would've been rediculus. It instead created a great groove in the wall, providing him with a good foothold. He continued to do this, creating divots in the walls until he made his way up to the first landing.
He immediately saw that he was in his element. The only things in sight were the evergreen trees that punctured upward with pointed edges, like needles sewing the sky, and the peak of the mountain, tainted with blue from the sky, and nearly reaching the top of it. This would be his kind of challenge indeed.
He took a big bite into an even bigger muffin. Reguvinated by it's energy, he gripped the large axe hanging hap-hazardly from his large bag. He then proceeded to do what was one of the things he did best. Chopping down trees like that shiz was HIS BUSINESS. He cleared a path up the mountain as quickly as he would of if he were walking through a clear field. Trees weren't even obstacles to him anymore. He reached a perfect place to sit down and map out what he'd done so far.
Just as he expected, the tops of the caverns weren't marked on any maps he could find, except for some that were made from air-born pictures.He started to map out what he had seen so far, not forgetting to include the convenient path he'd just made.
Finally. He'd found a place to explore because no one had before, and because HE COULD. Back in the mountains and forests, where he was most comfortable, the only think that was missing would be his mothers home baking.
...
OH WAIT! There was some in his bag! He continued to whip out dose pastries and eat them like a man. With a picnic basket, of course. The great aroma spread throughout the mountain air.

Mitsunari finally found some peace and quiet in a dark cavern... Bisharp had to scare a few Pokemon to go away, but that never stopped Mitsun from reading another book his father sent him... "The Battle of Seikigahara, the moment of truth whe-"Mitsunari smelled something... "What is that?" He looked around... To the left, then the right, and to the left again. He poked his head outide of the cave he was hiding in like a fox as Bisharp followed him from behind. Mitsunari scrutinized his surroundings for a bit until he looked upwards. "What in the world...?" Mitsunari saw a bear-like man munching an stuffing his face with some sort of food "What is the worlds...?Just when I thought I was finally alone!" yelled and walked back inside the cave, treading deeper and deeper to get as far away as possible from the mountain man. Mitsunari wanted out in whatever this man was doing here. Mitsunari walked into the darkness of the cave... deeper, and deeper. Until the darkness enveloped his whole body as his Bisharp followed with its guard up ready to attack anything in sight.

Hiker Anthony heard someone. He heard a frustrated someone at that. That, more than anything, made him want to make that person feel better. This was a job for pastries. He walked towards the voice, down a small hill, and towards a small cave.
There it was. Just being there. Anthony couldn't stand how that cave was just there. He walked into the cave. Because it was there.
Yet again, the caves struck him with their impassable blackness. They had a darkness to them that not only could you see, but you could feel. The caves had an odd sort of eerie sort of beauty to them.
Hiker Anthony walked into the cave... deeper, and deeper until the darkness envoloped his body. Then he lit a match and sent the whole caves aglow with his trusty lantern. People always told him that he should go out and get an electric one, or at least a flashlight, but he felt that the nice warm glow of a real fire was more comfortable to him.
The caves had an odd blue tint to them. Hiker Anthony took a small break to note this cave and its odd coloring on his map. He also took note of the crumbs that were on his shirt and in his beard, and he wiped them off.
What a shame, losing those bits of pastrie.
"Hey there! Anybody in here?" He shouted with a voice strong enough to cause children to go deaf. "You want some food?"
(Sorry for slow replys. Don't have a very consistant way of getting on these days)

The stench grew stronger after a few more turns and crevices...
Mitsun was getting frustrated...
"You fool! I don't want your pastries! Now leave me be or be purged!" Mitsunari yelled angrily and then continued to march on deeper.
"Bisharp, as much as you want to protect me..." Mitsunari stuck out his Pokeball, "Withdraw for now, if that beast draws ever so nearer, I'll retaliate with my own hands."
Bisharp nodded obediently and was teleported back into its Pokeball.
Mitsunari turned and quickly hid behind a boulder. He was getting quite better at acting like a fox. He could literally see in the dark now...
Mitsunari glared at the stone entrance where the large boulder was in that same room.
"The only way in here..." Mitsun thought, "Well, my quick escape shouldn't be that hard." He turned briefly behind him as there was a hole in the wall where he was hiding, large enough for him to slip through and continue his way to the next town.
"Hah, a slender man like myself should be no problem... But the mountain man has no chance." Mitsunari huffed quietly with pride.
But... Mitsunari has underestimated the jolly mountain man by a long shot.
NOTES;; Hee hee <3 Hiker Anthony, have fun 'tormenting' Mitsundere :3

Anthony heard a to his hollers, though they were too faint and disstorted from the caves for him to fully understand. It made no difference to him anyway. When he set out to do something, he did it. And he really couldn't stand the thought of these caves just being here, without some proper exploration.
The light flicker of his lantern bounced against rock, and the place seemed totally alien to him. He was filled with an odd feeling, a step and a half away from dizzyness. After a while, he found an opening blocked by an unmovable, impassable boulder of staggeringly imence proportions.
Hiker anthony quickly moved and passed the boulder. After all, it wasn't all that big.
The room it opened to wasn't that big either. After all the little opening could barely hold the giant, rediculusly huge tiny bolder. At the other end of the "room" was another opening, this one much smaller. How could Anthony possibly pass through?
Why with a shovel of course. The mountain man and his spade made quick work of the solid rock.

Mitsun, crawling slowly through the hole in the wall suddenly heard digging noises.
"Oh no, he's following me..." Mitsun thought with disdain.
Mitsunari crawled, almost to running on all fours.
Mitsunari exited the path he took and quickly proceeded to next chamber.
"This is ridiculous", he thought.
He paused.
"Oh, I'll stop him for sure this time."
Mitsunari set up a few of his homemade mines at the entrance of the chamber and hid behind a corner leading to another rocky-dark room.
He detonated the the mines as an ear-piercing BOOOOOOM was heard through the whole cave as a massive avalanche of rocks and boulders in massive sizes blocked the entrance to where Mitsunari predicted Anthony would enter through.
"YES! SUCCESS!" Mitsunari cheered as he ran into the next room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About 15 minutes later, Mitsunari had a hunch that his pursuer gave up.
He lighted a match and set up his own fire himself and started to read in the dark, that book he wanted to finish.
"I can't finish this book father..." Mitsunari talked to himself, "Seikigahara just sounds too... terrifying and familiar."
Mitsunari put the away and took out a new one.
"Now what do we have here? We have a fool, a bigger fool, and a fool beyond all help!"
Mitsunari sighed, "I hope Sakon never referred to me as being classified as a fool..."
NOTES;; LOL Anthony, I think you need to work to get Mitsunari's approval. XD
A huge explosion rattled Anthony, along with the mountain, and caused a wall of rocks to fall down both onto and in front of Anthony. The rocks hitting him didn't mind him so much, he was more or less used to that by now, but it would make digging this tunnel a lot harder.
And boy did it. The work was so excrutiatingly long that many men would've died had they tried to finish this tunnel. This was the kind of job that would take a whole country hundreds of years to build, and with many casualties. It was truely as near to impossible work as anything could come.
It took Anthony a whole sixteen minutes to break through to the other side.
There was a crash that echoed through the caves...
"You have to be joking..." Mitsunari rolled his eyes, "He won't stop... won't he?"
So, Mitsunari, took a sip of his tea, put out the fire with some dirt, packed his things and jumped up high enough to a ledge where another path in the caves was sitting soundly about, 10 feet up.
Mitsunari sighed annoyed, "I guess my fox-like qualities of mine are getting quite the exercise today..."
Mitsunari vanished into the darkness again.
"Hopefully, this persistent fool doesn't follow me to the other town..." he thought, "That would be utterly EMBARRASSING."
A beam of light shone from his latern into the next opening, ilimining the whole area, and yet again Anthony took note of the sereen beauty of the caves, with their eerie blue tint. A quick flutter of upward movement was caught in Anthony's keen eyes, giving him enough information. Who ever this person was, they were running away from Anthony.
This didn't anger him, but it made him a little sad.
Anthony then continued to smash through the remaining rubble with an explosion of intense force that could easily have killed twenty people, had they been in his way. He only hoped that there wasn't any innocent Geodude in that rubble.
He scanned the top of the opening, looking for wherever his target would've gone to. This task was made very difficult by his latern. While providing a quite cozy light, it was also quite covered on the top, and didn't make for very good verticle vision.
He eventually did find another small hole, and started to create climbing grooves, in a fashion similar to what he had to do in the beginning of his small quest. This, if nothing else, was becoming a great test of his adventuring abilities. after creating a nice groove for a foot and both of his hands, he noticed something peculiar.
Beneath the blue-ish, slightly tinted exterior of the rock was a deep grey, almost black stone. It was almost as if someone had painted the color onto the walls.
This meant literally nothing to the hiker, but he noted it on his map anyway. The map was actually starting to look quite cluttered with all the scribbled writing.
He didn't care. He did take out a nice doughnut for a break though. The smell filled the caves, and Anthony considered this a significant improvement. It didn't take him long to get to the hole and start crawling forward.
Mitsunari sniffed the air... "You have to be kidding me..." Mitsun looked over his shoulder. But it was all dark... He crawled fast again and emurged from the caves. As he suspected... There was a chamber.
"No way... Not now!!" Mitsunari was devestated as he saw that found himself in a labrynth.
"There's no way this is happening to me above all people!!"
Mitsunari saw many rope bridges until he looked to his side.... In the darkness of the cave was another passage way!
"If I am able to get through here... I could find myself at the next town."
Mitsunari ran and dashed from bridge, to bridge.
" If you know who saw me out here... Gosh, that would down right annoying..."
The hiker emerged from the stark blackness of the cramped caves, and his eyes took a momment to re-adjust to the change in brightness. As soon as the large man could tell his left from right, he bolted full speed forward, barely even noticing the rickety rope bridge beneath him. Boards cracked, broke, and once a whole bridge fell behind him, but this didn't stop Anthony. This was nothing. Soon enough, he was close enough to smell The weird looking individual who was running in front of him. He smelt really weird. Just as Anthony made it into the cave at the other side of the bridges, He threw a cinnimon bun at the man, hitting him directly in the back of the head. CRITICAL HIT.
Mitsunari was hit with some sticky soft, thing.
"WHAT THE HECK!? MY HAIR!" He snapped and glared at the mountain man, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME YOU FOOL?!"
Mitsunari was enraged and picked a stone and threw it at the mountain man and dashed to the exit again.
Jumping over many crevices alike, he finally ran past a few tunnels and emerged out of the cave.
"FINALLY!" With a sigh of relief...
Mitsunari sat on top of a large boulder and took a quick break.
"I should be at the next tow-" Mitsunari was devastated at the sight he saw, "No... this isn't... but... HOW?!" he yelled frustrated.
The surroundings were where he started running away from the mountain man was exactly the same.
Mitsunari found himself at the very beginning of the cave.
He face-palmed and lied down on the boulder in exhaustion.
Hiker Anthony had heard the words that erupted from the mouth of this strange looking (and smelling) man of Japanese decent, but they made no difference to him now. His mind, and to some extent his body, had been strangely altered by the adrenaline of a man hunt and the sugar of home made pastries. The mountain man had transformed into an equally bear-like man beast. the scorchingly hot fire that burned insode him could only alow him to do one thing, and that was catch this man. He was hit in the head with a rock, and without even noticing the projectile that had struck him, he began his chase once again. He was more determined this time, more ferocious, and even less likely to give up. He ran with the speed of someone less than half his size, if that person was on steroids and had robotic rocket powered legs. He would carch this man, and he would make friends with him. The outcome was inevitable, from his view of things. He burst out of the caves in no time at all, and the sunlight blinded him. He kept going. By the time he regained vision, he was mere centimeters away from his target. (Can you believe I did this whole post on my 3ds? I'm becoming a master at typing with this thing.)
Mitsunari could here the breathing of some sort of beast.
He sighed and stood laid there motionless, he really didn't want to move after all of that running.
"Now, that he's here, what the hell does he want from me?" Mitsunari thought a little ticked and very grouchy.
He just sat there... motionless...
Finally, Mitsun came to his senses and sat upwards and glared at the mountain man below him.
"What do you want from me? Why approach me when I really need some peace and quiet you baka. I have no time for silly games with you. Plus, get that stupid pungent food away from me, I prefer NOT to lose my fox-like appearance and look like some over-weight poodle."
Mitsunari was obviously... mad and angry. Yet, at every place he went to, he was alone and always running into the WRONG people when he wants to be alone. And when he is alone and wants someone to talk to... no one is there.
"If this guy wants to kill me or something, I'll show him something about me he'll NEVER want to see again..." He thought impatiently.
Anthony stood there, a breeze was blowing into his face, causing him to squint. The smell was of nature, fallen leaves and treebark, an oddly sweet smell that the mountain man, like many others, had fallen in love with. It was almost nostalgic to him; it gave him an odd feeling, almost like lonelyness, but not quite. The feeling of missing something, or someone. But this was all irrelevant and Anthony was quite used to it all by now.
The important thing was that this man was standing there, mad at Anthony, yelling at him, and only for trying to give him some tasty food! could you believe this guy? couldn't he only just take the food, say "thank you" and then be on his way like any polite person? And he was mad at Anthony!
Then, Anthony remembered something that he'd (up to this point) been ignoring. He never really offered him the food, just threw it at the back of this guys head.
Looking at this man, frustrated man, gave Anthony another odd feeling. It almost matched the feeling he got from nature, but with a darker overtone. Anthony raised his fist, with his axe in it, and did something he hoped he'd never do again. He hoped he'd never have to do again.
He cried the biggest, manliest man tears you'd ever see. So manly. You don't even.
