Reward System
to reward the hard work our moderators do.

WHAT IS IT?
the reward system is exactly what it sounds like - a way to reward those who do good. it is made only for moderators, however, and only they are allowed the benifits provided by this system. this is all set up on the idea of "tallys" or "brownie" points given to moderators when they do one of two things. however, before we get to that, let's quick go over who are concidered "moderators". well... anyone who can mod threads! your admins, global mods and normal mods are all eligable for the rewards and points.

HOW TO EARN POINTS
so. all you moderators and normal members are probably wondering exactly how to get these points. well, actually, there are two very special ways to earn them. however, for now, we're going to cover one and save the second until the next paragraph. way number one! simply... mod a thread! it's as easy as that! each time you post in a thread that needs modding - even if you hand over the modding to another moderator or are the one the thread's being handed over to - you'll recieve one point to be used in the shop of sorts below. it's, honestly and truly, that simple.

ANOTHER WAY TO EARN POINTS
way number two is a little more complicated... but still not all that hard to comprehend. you are allowed to recieve points from other members. if one feels that you have done an especially good job in modding those lovely threads of their's, this is their way of giving back to you. or maybe you're just a cool mod - really, i think you're all cool mods, but... - and someone wants to let you know just how awesome you are. members are only allowed to gift one point within the span of an entire twenty-four hour time period. well, one point to one mod. you can give as many mods one point as you want in one day, just not a crud ton to one.

KEEP IN MIND...
let's say a moderator is removed from their position for whatever reason. banned, they resigned, some other third thing... they're points shall remain in tack should they ever return so they can continue to use them after their untimely absenses. points may not be added or subtracted if and when a mod has been removed from their position, but can and will be before and after. so don't go awarding members who were mods, but no longer are one.

HOW DO I LET YOU KNOW?
in order to let me, your stinkin' awesome and obviously egotistical admin Leap know when and why you should get your moderator tally, points, whatever you might wanna call 'em, fill out the form at the bottom telling me what threads you've modded. if you mod in a new thread, modify your existing post instead of posting a completely new one. please and thank you! i'll be checking this thread from time to time but, if i've forgetten or you're particularly impatient on receiving your points, drop me a PM or message on the chat box. i'm completely cool with that.

WHO GETS TO PARTICIPATE?
who gets to participate? well, that's a stupid question! everyone gets to get in on this - they just have different roles. mods are the ones who, well, mod threads and be awesome. they are also allowed to make purchases from the store that shall be posted momentarily. normal members who can't reap these benifits are allowed to grace the people we all know and love with points and be happy with make another member feel loved. and isn't that what we all want here? to feel happy and loved?
